Location: Legoland, UK

Well I am done work and i sitting in Ric's hole.... he has me doing all of his office work because he doesn't like doing it. I don't mind... OFFICE SUPPLIES!! Can life get much better than that?! All i need now is some bbq stuff around and my life is sorted!

As I was kicking people out one of the organizational managers (my big big boss) asked me how my visa was coming along. I told him that HR said they could not do anything about it and he said he would see if he could do anything... i am not going to hold my breath but who knows!!

Good afternoon one and all... Well I am at work again! This time feeling a lot better then I did the other day! I am still really dissappointed that I have to go home but glad I have such wicked friends here. They have all been really supportive and very sad that I am leaving (which in a way makes it harder to know I have to leave them). Moving house in a couple day so packing has also kept my mind off the visa, it is totally amazing how much STUFF you can collect over a couple years! Hope all is well with you lot! Miss you lots,

Hugs and kisses all around!
Bye for now!

Well I recieved some bad news yesterday. I went into HR and they told me that there is pretty much no way that I could get my VISA extended. I am so depressed, it is almost like someone has died. My heart aches at the fact that I might not be able to stay. I think I might just have to marry my friend Gay Neil. It is looking to be my only option. It also seems like the weather here is following my moods... bright and sunny yesterday and then today we are expecting thunderstorms, flash floods, hurricans, and hail the size of base balls!

On a happy note I did my first education shift at legoland yesterday. It was lots of fun so I think I might do it more often! We shall see how it goes.

i will keep you updated.
bye for now

Location: Windsor, UK

Well I am sitting at work and thought that I would write a little more in my journal! I am looking at traveling more this summer but i have a few things holding me back... firstly I have never traveled on my own before (besides coming to England, but that seems so long ago now). Secondly I don't know where to go, i have so many places that I want to go and see i find it hard to pick which one i want to go to first. Thirdly, I need to book time off work which isn't really a problem at all. There is also the financial aspect of it as well. Writing these down it feels more like excuses then anything else. I think I just need to get my ass into gear! If you happen to read my page please let me know where I should be thinking about traveling. bye for now!

Location: Poland

First time on this page and I though if my friends can have a page I should try it too! Actually I think the reason I like it so much is because of the map. I love things like that... maps with pins in them... stamps in my passport! Well from the 8th to the 10th I was in Poland with a friend from work who is Polish. Had a wonderful time. It was not exactally what I was expecting but i find that nothing is ever as it seems. It was wonderful flying in, lots of valley towns and lush forests. When we got there Kasia and I took the train to her moms house which was about three hours away by train. There we had a massive meal and sat up. They did a lot of catching up but i just really sat there because I didn't know what was being said. Kasia and I then slept in here grandma's new house and apparently you should remember the dream you have when you sleep in a new house for the first time because it will come true... lets hope that is not true or we will have a problem with dragons and monsters!! On the 9th (Kasia's Birthday) we took the train back in to Kracow and spent the day sight seeing. we went to the square and to the castle. Because it was her birthday we also went and got are hair cut, coloured and got our nails done! That night we went out for drinks. Kasia lost her digital camera in the back of a cab and we ended up going to the police and they helped us find the cab! Thankfully the camera was still in the back and the police then drove us back to our hostel! What a night!! On the 10th I was recovering from Polish beer and we just walked around a bit more, Kasia had to buy stuff for people back in england etc. It was a great town. I found that there was a lot of mixture of buildings and such. Some where clean and well kept while others looked like a good gust of wind would blow them over! i think that the best thing about Poland were the houses... each house was individual... not the mass builds like you see on a lot of Canadian streets. Overall a very good trip, would like to go back when I have a bit more time on my hands to do more sightseeing!

Location: Rome, Italy

What a beautiful city! There is so much history and so much culture it is hard to know where to look! I think that we are really lucky that we got there before the pope died! I can't imagine how crazy that would have been. I got yelled at a few times in Italian because my belly was showing when I was yawning and streching. Didn't mind much cause I didn't know what they were saying anyways! Did a couple of walking tours which was great because I would not have got as much information from a tour book. We did all the major sight seeing stuff. Our hostel was a little sketchy... funny thing is that everyone in our 8 bed room was told that they would have a private room but when we got there all of the private rooms were broken!! I think we were had, oh well we got a cheaper price and free pizza one night! One word of advice is don't dye your hair blonde before going... i had men walking down the streets after me "bella bella"... if only they were young and cute not old and creepy! I will write more later about Rome! bye for now
