Well last week, I had the pleasure of Shae Havill visiting me in London. She was in Dublin with John at the Flight Centre Global Ball and stayed with us for a few days afterwards...
John had his Fcm ball on Saturday night at the Honarable Artillary Centre in London.
It's a gorgeous 25degrees, blue skies, and like a million (okay some 50million!) other Britons we are in the garden making it pretty...
A friend of John's from school - and another great night!
This Saturday was spent at the Dickens Inn Pub at St Katherine Dock. The venue of our first date in July 2002! A few friends joined us for my birthday drinks.
John and I stayed two nights in Evesham in the Cotswolds. Maureen, Ed and Benjamin stayed one night. We visited Woodstock, Stow-on-Wold and Oxford as well.
John had a weekend in the Eastern block in February with work - partners not included :(
He had a great time though and managed to bribe the hotel manager to make him a midnight sandwich after a night out!
Well our first proper hot day in London was well spent in Hyde Park with friends. It was 26degrees (Yes! I hear you gasp)
I spent a nice weekend with my friend, Rosie, in Wimbledon.
We went to a bar on Friday night, a Braai with some our of South African friends on Sat night then we had breakfast in Hampstead Heath on Sunday.... Lovely!
This winter I made two trips to the iceskating rink in London. Once with John and once with Cat - Perfecting my routine!
We went to Tiger Tiger, an upmarket bar/restaurant in the West End. There were 12 of us for dinner and others joined for drink afterwards
Mel's first Eurostar journey to Paris. We were there 19-23rd December 2006. It was magical just before Xmas, the Champs Elysee was full of amazing lights
These are some pics of the Archers in Glasgow (yes Mel was there as well!). We had a great time and managed to see a Celtic game while we were there.
Some pics of John and I in Malaysia enroute to England. We spent four nights in Penang and two in KL.
