Location: Sydney - still!, Australia

MapWell it’s been a few weeks since I last wrote so i'm sure you’re all dying to hear what i've been up to!!

Unfortunately, there’s not really a lot to tell. But thought I’d write a little update just so you all know I’m still alive and thinking of you from over here in Sydney.

As I mentioned in my last update I am now back in the glorious city of Sydney working for AON consulting. Not a bad job for the fact that I don’t do hardly anything and get paid approx 10 pounds an hour. The plan is to save as much as possible over the next 6 weeks before heading up the East Coast.

Well don’t worry it hasn’t been all work and no play – we have been on a few outings. Last week we took a visit to the beautiful Blue Mountains. Stunning scenery and we were lucky enough to go on a really clear day, which meant we could see for miles. We also got to go on the world’s steepest railway, which I must say is extremely steep! Along the way we got to visit a wildlife park where I got to feed little kangaroos and smooth Koalas. A great day out!

Easter arrived last weekend (as i’m sure you all noticed!) so not only was I allowed to eat chocolate, crisps and drink fizzy drinks again we also made the most of our four days off. The highlight for me has to be Saturday. We were meant to go Wine tasting in Hunter valley but as this was not very well organised we ended up attempting to get there but ending up in Newcastle, a small town 3 hours on the train away from Sydney!! A very random day, but very funny indeed. Decided as we were supposed to be doing wine tasting we’d buy a box of Goon (cheap wine) and drink this all the way home. Obviously not with out drama – Matt and me both managed to get told off by the train police before we made it back to the cross!

Easter Sunday night found us in Sydney’s ‘favourite’ club Tank for Hed Kandi. A great night out as quite a few from the hostel all dressed up in our best gear to dance the night away. As you can imagine there were a few soar heads the next day.

Other news - Ross has unfortunately decided to leave us all and head home after 5 long months! It was very sad but something he had to do - i personally blame Jacqueline for tempting him with the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride at Alton Towers!! Anne arrived back in Sydney for the day yesterday before heading off to Brisbane with the rest of the girls. They're off to watch James Blunt. Unfortunately im stuck in Sydney as i couldnt get the time off work! Boooooo!

Well I hope you all had a great Easter and got lots of chocolate eggs – I only got one small kinder egg, but thank you mum it was yummy!

I’d love to hear what you’ve all been up to so get writing fast. I promise I’ll be better with the replies!
