Sunday, 06 Aug 2006

Location: Bardon, Australia

MapMY GOD!! WHAT IZ THA TIME???!? WHAT DAY IZ IT???
Left Italy on Friday..... at 10am......, then arrived in Stansted, ENG about 1pm......... then caught, bus, tube, bus to Heathrow......., waited for 5 hours........, caught plane to Singapore (13 hours)........, then waited 5 hours in the Airport..........., caught plane to Brisbane....... 8 hours. Sunday, yes, Sunday is today...
The effects of 3 days of travel are having their effect, and great to be able to have 20 million of people that speak the same language.... AUSTRALIAN.
The last 3 months, which felt like 2 seconds, were a phenomenal experience and all the people I have met on the way have made it extrally unforgetable. I feel so great to be back home, but in a BIG way, feel I could have stayed on travelling for at least another 5 or 6 years.
A HUGE THANKS FOR ALL THOSE THAT WERE KING ENOUGH TO PERMIT ME INTO THEIR HOMES.

Juan and Manual in Palermo, Buenos Aires
Mirta and Marcelo in Las Terrazas, Posadas
Leonardo, Hernan and Eloisa in Sao Paulo, Brasil
Eja, Natalie and Tiago in Rio De Janeiro, Brasil
Andy, Sue and Peter in South Oxley, Enlgand
Madda Rossi in Forli, Italy.

Without these dynamite people, the trip would definitely not have taken place.
The next travel has been planned, and saving has already begun.
For tall tales, trials and tribulations, terror and torment, tan-tasy and tan-citment, (ok, my word alliteration has stopped but I wanted to keep going) that wasnt included in this website, you will just have to give me a call and we shall discuss further with a beverage in hand.
But lastly thanks goes out to all of those who kept in touch and reading my travel diary... especially those who bothered to write comments, they were very much appreciated and keep me sane whenever body around was speaking another language.
CHEERS EVERYBODY.

"Well ive been the cities, I love being free.
From Posadas, to Rio and little Forli.
But no matter how far or how wide I rome,
I still call Australia ho-my-basecamp-to-get-ready-to-travel-to-my-next-d
estination-me."

People often ask me, 'Aiden, how the hell can you go and travel to all these places? How can you do it?'
I just say its easy... 'I bought a ticket.'
The time is the same all around the world... now.

Hasta yo viaja proxima amigos... Ill see you overseas.
