Location: Camp Stewart, Kerrville, USA

MapToday has been fun. After finally meeting all of my cabin mates ranging from your typical American Jim Davies, to the ever funny Cordy O'Donnell from Ireland, it was time to get dressed and head to breakfast...Sausage, Pancakes and Maple Syrup. However these are not just ordinary pancakes, these are the kind of pancakes which could be used to destroy a wall, just by bouncing off them...these vessels of death have simply been called bowl crackers.

After a brief tour of camp and a talk from the Directors and a Father of an ex-camper we were then taken to try and qualify for the life guard course. This consisted of 10 laps of an olympic size swimming pool. However in true Guv fashion my hawaiian style pants wouldn't stay around my waist thus resulting in disqualification from the trials.

The weather here is fantastic a nice 91 degrees, my tan/lobster shell is beginning to take shape, and so hopefully I'll look a little bit more native as the week progresses. The kids don't arrive until a week on monday and so i'm currently going through training in first aid and also sports development. Until tomorrow, this is me signing off.
