Location: Camp Stewart, Kerrville, USA

MapFinally after what has seemed like an eternity, the hell of blood, sweat, tears and human waste that was my term is now over.

There will be no more, soiling of undergarments, 3 square meals of chicken, or even the dull echoing sound of a 13 year olds skull being hit by a plastic toy.

3 weeks and 4 days after the kids arrived here at Camp Stewart, it is at last time for them to 'leave the nest' as it were and fly back home to whine 24/7 at Mommy and Daddy.

As soon as the camp is completely tidied we can then begin to take a well earned 3 and a half day break, which should be a lot better since one of the parents in my cabin issued me with a 'gift card' which was in fact a piece of paper with a picture of a Mr. Benjamin Franklin on it, or as we may know it a $100 bill. Bonus.

So as soon as the kids were gone, the Enlgishmen among us including myself, constructed Lord's Cricket Ground, using Sam Nesbitt's cricket set, kindly shipped over by his Mother, and the Camp Stewart American Football field.
Fun was had by all and we also managed to include 2 Kiwis and an 3 South Africans into the mix, just to further the experience.

After this delightful afternoon of Yorkers and Googlies, it was then time to head off to the godlike Mexican restaurant that is 'Mamacitas', where I once again gorged on their beef fajita special, washed down with a Dr. Pepper. Spot On.

After that it was then time to head back to chill in the Dinosaur Loft cabin with a few beers and reminisce about the term that was.
