Govern’s Travel Diary

Location: Camp Stewart, Kerrville, USA

MapWell my break has treated me well, seeing everything from Superheroes to Law Enforcers, it's been a hectic one.

But as the old saying goes, 'all good things must come to an end' and so today sees the final hours of my time away from the hell that is a practical parenthood.

So in order to end on a high note, I slept through most of the day and then lazed the day away in front of the TV, watching re-runs of That 70's Show and The Dave Chappelle Show.
My viewing pleasures however were interrupted by Kyle Landry our Program Director, informing us that our assignments for next term were ready for us to see.

As it turns out the camp thought I did a good enough job to continue my role as Cabin Leader for the campmaster program. However this did result in the sacrifice of 'The Crib' or 'Palace' that had been my home since the end of training when I first arrived.

Tomorrow sees the 4th July and so to bring Independence Day in style, we're taking a victory case of beer up Joy Bluff to ease us back into the routine of camp.

Until tomorrow, this is me signing off.
