Location: Camp Stewart, Kerrville, USA

MapAt last, after what seems like an enternity, we finally get our first sleep late and so it wasn't until the nice late (and I use that term loosely) hour of 8 that it was time for Horse Corral to wake up and once again enter the proverbialpaddock that is Camp Stewart.

The church service at the Green Cathedral saw a sensational performance of 'Stand By Me' which was practiced about an hour before mass began, by the Stewart Choir which of course included yours truly.

The day progressed as normal until cabin campout where several hours of absolute pain and anguish were to be endured. The reason for this torment, was down to the fact that our final place of rest for the evening would be a top the monstrosity that is Joy Bluff. To give you some idea of the terrain that I would be lying dorment upon I suggest you watch 'Mad Max', starring Mel Gibson (who according to a couple of yanks is Scottish) and then add more rocks. That's pretty much what you're looking at.

Final time of my recollection ---- 4am
