Govern’s Travel Diary

Location: Camp Stewart, Kerrville, USA

MapAnother day in the land of Camp Stewart, or as we now call it Camp X-Ray, simply because whilst being extremely bored, we worked out including time off that we are getting paid about 6c an hour, which is even less that the unfortunate Mexican families who have been enslaved here.

At Camp X-Ray however things are not all that bad and after all it isn't about the money (although it would be nice to get a bit more, such as the $2500 that the American's get paid), it is in fact the life experience and also the best birth control that money can buy, for now we have all agreed that after a stint here at Camp X-Ray children are not the best option.

The rest of the day saw once again the arrival of the reports that must be written and sent home to the extremely wealthy parents of the children that reside here at Camp X-Ray, however a lot of these letters will not be read until the kids get home, simply because their selfish parents sent their kids here, so that they can have a nice all expenses paid holiday on their yacht in Monte Carlo. Just goes to show why some ofthese kids, expect things to be handed to them on a plate.

Other than this though there are now only 10 days left till the end of this term and the beginning of another well deserved break. Fantastic.
