Govern’s Travel Diary

Monday, 24 Jul 2006

Location: Camp Stewart, Kerrville, USA

MapA Monday morning, here at Camp Stewart and the beginning of the end for 2nd term 2006. Many people are making their travel plans for the term break, including Skydiving, trips to various cities in Texas, but once again a lack of sleep and also of money locked up in fixed assets, therefore casuing me a problem with liquidity (Sorry about that, a few of the lads from Oxford Uni, were discussing the finer points of business study, and so I got caught up in the moment. What I meant to say is that all of my money is in traveller's cheques ready for the second leg of my giant U.S Tour).

This means that I'll be staying here at Stewart, for a lot of sleep, free food and no doubt a few counselor cokes(that's alcoholic beverages, to me and you) will be provided, during my stay.

The 3rd term then presents me with a mere 100m race of 9 days of camp, compared to the 2 marathons I have just metaphorically run here at Stewart.

Today was pretty boring other than the night off which saw us chilling by the Kerrville Dam and just getting away from the boredom that is camp. Oh well one step closer to the end.
