Location: Zion National Park, Utah, USA

MapOur next stop was the impressive Zion National Park, which upon arrival would precipitate me to do one of the most active things ever, scale a 1200ft mountain in just under 1 hour 30 mins. Mainly because 3/4 of the mountain is pathed and so it's easy to walk up however the top sees the use of chains being required to hold on to the rock face, if you don't it's an staggering 10 second and 1000ft drop to ground level.

The view at the end however is extremely rewarding and gives you an entire view of the Zion which is why this giant rock gets the name 'Angel's Landing' because you probably could touch the sky if you stretched high enough.

The trek was tiring and so after a really long day it was time to leave behind Zion and head to our next stop. This time destination Lake Powell.
