Location: Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA

MapThe time is 4.30AM and I feel as though I've been hit by a truck, license plate "T1R3D", mainly due to the fact that our huge van drive yesterday had finally begun to take its toll on me.

I finally managed to drag myself out of bed and followed the rest of the Trek Crew, to our own private hideaway spot at the Grand Canyon free from tourists (even those who have a slightly more Japanese ethnicity) to view one of the most spectacular sights in the world.

Sunrise at the Grand Canyon. As camp as it may sound when your sitting on a ledge 900ft in the air, with a Sunrise in front of you the feeling you get is awesome.

Today was awesome in every respect except for the fact that the Sunset was nowhere near as amazing as the sunrise, but still was awesome to see, however it was my choice of viewing spots which for some reason all seemed to be 1ft away from a 500ft drop, which hasn't really bothered me, ever since the mammoth trip to the top of 'Angel's Landing' in Zion, maybe I'm crazy or maybe it's the power of the 'Indiana Jones' style hat I purchased at a Navajo Gift Shop.

Having had another awesome leg on this fantastic trek it was time to sleep ready for the next expansion of our trek, Destination Monument Valley.
