MapHi all! We hope you're all happy about our new photo additions! Aren't they fantastic?!!! Time for us to do a speedy update as we are so behind.

Amsterdam was so much far! World Cup fever had definitely come to town and there was amazing decorations everywhere, and the people were in such great spirit. There were people from all over the world there wearing their colours and flags. It was such a great time to be there. We were very patriotic!

Our first day in Amsterdam we went on another bike tour which took us through the city sights and then out to a cheese and clog farm away from the seedy town centre. It was very beautful riding past windmills and weirdos. The freaks definitely all come out to play in the Dam. The cheese we got to taste on the farm was amazing, so yummy! After the tour we headed to the only Aussie bar in town to watch the Australia-Japan game! It was packed with a sea of flags, green and gold, and we were defintely fitting right in in our Aussie flag singlets! Here we watched the game drinking some Coopers Pale Ale just to add to the Aussie fever! When Australia scored their first goal the place erupted and the following 2 goals only got more and more crazy. The place was soooo out of control that the Dutch TV crews arrived to film the 'crazy' aussies sing along to Powderfinger after the game for the news! So funny, We got right in there up the front when we saw the cameras arrive. haha.

That night we went on a pub crawl around Leidesplein with a bunch of our busabout buddies! It was loads of fun and we were extremely drunk. The bars were so seedy but that just seemed to fit in with the whole Amsterdam experience.

The next morning we visited the Van Gogh museum which was great, and then the Anne Frank house which was very interesting and such an eye opener. I think it was preparing us for all the WW2 information overload we were about to receive in Berlin. To top off the museum experience, we thought we had better check out the SEX MUSEUM! This was pretty funny, i think we were running around giggling like school girls!

That night we revelled in the Amsterdam experience and went to a coffee shop. Enough said.

The next day we had to get up early (which was quite hard...) to catch the bus to Berlin!
