Jenny Sheraton’s Travel Diary

Location: London, UK

MapI jumped on the open air double decker bus and spent hours going around the city and seeing everything. There are so many people, cars, taxis, buses and little roads.

I got off the bus and went to St Paul's Cathedral which is unbelievable. You can't take photos there but I will remember it for a very long time. I think I hurt my neck looking at the ceiling for too long!! The paintings on the ceilings are more than I expected. I went down to the crypt and walked over people's crypts. There are a lot of dedications to fallen servicemen and women. I'm not overly religious but there were certainly something about walking around a church like that.

After a very big day I got back to my hotel about 3.30pm. Had a very needed shower. Laura my roommate is nice girl from Dubbo coming to Scotland to study but holidaying first and we get on very well. I had Pizza Hut for dinner - I know I'm in London but it was convenient. We were both asleep by 8pm.

Planning to go to the Tower of London tomorrow.
