Location: Vancouver, Canada

Map We passed over the Rocky mountains, desert and a huge amount of agricultural land to the west coast. Cruising down the runway into Vancouver after traversing the USA from Pensacola. it was nice to get here.

We had booked into a downtown hotel and after booking in we took to the streets to expolore this grand city. It really lives up to its name of a clean place and with the mountains in the background the setting is just beautiful. Our point of attention on this walk was the small island of Granville, which was bustliing with locals relaxing on a sunday morning taking in the markets or enjoying an ale at the local micro brewery. We wandered around looking at the selection of food which was doninated by the "SALMON" yummmmmyyyy!!!! we orderd a healthy portion and sat down to enjoy with of course an ale for dad.

The next day Trace arrived and we hired bikes to pedal our way around Stanley Park, which is located in the harbour and provides a lovely view of the waterfront and waterways. We did hire mountain bikes so that gave us all the reason to take any dirt path that looked like a trail.
