MapMONOPOLY BOARD PUB CRAWL

Well as an aussie tourist in London, we did what most aussies talk about doing but usually never get round to it. We conquered the Monopoly Board Pub Crawl!

We went with the prearranged tour, organised by Tim the Tourman in London, which is probably a good thing - don't think we could have arranged it ourselves! So off we headed 10am Saturday morning to start the crawl at the Blind Beggar, Whitechapel. The day cost £15 which included our stylin' tshirts and drink discounts all day. There was also a madhatter theme - Glene even manageed to come 3rd in the hat contest with his pirate hat - arghhh!

Our day was spent roaming from pub to pub via tube, bus and walking, it was a pretty rainy day but by the time we got to the 2nd pub the rain was forgotten. Pubs we went to included: The Railway Tavern - Liverpool St, The Walkabout - Islington, The Rocket - Euston Rd, The Bunker - Covent Garden, Belushi's - Covent Garden, The Walkabout - Temple, The Rose & Springbok -Covent Garden and The Walkabout -Shaftesbury Avenue. As you can tell - it had a bit of an aussie touch and we didn't actually go to all 28 places on the monopoly board, but we did get fairly sloshed as you can tell in the pics!

At one stage I had even commandeered the leaders horn off him and was leading the 100 people on the pub crawl myself between bars! It was a great day had by all, and after we finished at the last pub at about 10pm - we though it'd be a good idea to keep going so headed back to Fulham to our usual haunts to finish off the night.
