Location: Great Ocean Road, Torquay, Australia

MapUp at 7 all packed and ready for our long drive along the Great Ocean Road in our Nissan hire cars, snacks and drinks and few clothes. Took about 1 1/2 hrs to get to Torquay surfing town. Apparently it is one of the best places in the world to surf with the biggest waves up to 6 m high! I sat out on the surf lesson, because i didn't want to come out in a rash in the sun! Took loads of photos of eveyone Jenni, Tanya, Annie, Juhan, Ville, Putro... as Garry and I sat on the beach. After the lesson we met up for lunch and the others continued surfing whilst Garry and I went to the pub and played a few games of pool. Met the others for our long drive to Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road (limestone rock formations). The drive was well worth it...especially as we got there just in time for sun set. Took some amazing photos, yet again! Had to rush to check in the hostel for 10pm, which was still another 2 hours away. The hostel in Worrenburg was cheap and cheerful, ok for one night. The town was pretty busy, loads of students around so we did the student thing and went out for the night. Firstly to a pub for a quick cheap drink, then to an Italian restaurant for food, then to an Irish pub playing indie/rock live for a boogie...but that wasn't enough we ended up in a club at 1am! so much fun! i'm telling you the Finnish can drink like fish.
