Norma and Matt’s Travel Diary

Monday, 04 Dec 2006

Location: Walter Peak, New Zealand

MapToday was a day of relaxing stroles on a beautiful NZ sheep and cattle farm! we saw demonstrations of sheep shearing, and how they regroup and move the sheep, cattle and even the Red Deer from one pen or bring them down off the mountain side. The sheep look soo funny after the farmer cuts off all of its fur. we were to busy playing with the 3 day old pair of twins, baby lambs, that we missed how they spin the sheeps fur into wool. We took a long walk down an old farm road and saw lots of sheep, cattle and horses. We came back to the town and went shopping and got a bite to eat and now just trying to get some laundry done so we don't keep lugging around our dirty cloths. Thats about it we will update tomorrow.
