Location: Delhi, India

MapHi again,

I arrived in Delhi last night from Pushkar. Pushkar is a cool place, the city is centered round a big lake with lots of ghats surrounding it which each represent a certain god where locals bath and pray. Just chilled out here really and watched the sunset from a huge mountain which looks over the city. I met up with a couple from the UK which I did the camel safari with in Jalsalmer so the evenings where pretty much spent in a restaurant which a few others, the food in Pushkar is top notch!

I got the night bus last night to Delhi. Arrived at 6 in the morning and it was pitch black and throwing it down. Also took me a good hour to find a hotel so wasn't a happy chappy! I've been shopping today in this huge, very busy city (too busy) but its still raining and a little miserable. When it rains here all power goes so only places with generators work which makes it an even noisier city. Luckily I'm starting my volunteer work tomorrow so am traveling up to the village 6 hours north of Delhi in the morning. I'm looking forward to this as it'll be nice to be in one place for a while instead of packing and unpacking every other day. This will be for at least 3 weeks and apparently the nearest town has a computer which we are let out to on good behavior on Sundays so should be able to keep in touch.

Hope your all ok!
