Location: Chaing Mai, Thailand

MapThoughts on Thailand

Chaing Mai is a city used by golfers mainly from Japan - There are 10 courses within 10 miles of the city and god, do the Japanese like their golf - 6.00am start. There are also many english here playing the circuits from Pattaya to Chaing Mai.

Each and every guard at the hotel has one of these for moving people, cars, buses etc - You whistle non stop as a car moves to park - long whistle to move backwards and lots and lots of short ones for any sort of turn - a really badge of power is the whistle

Road Crossings

If you can cross the road here - London is a piece of cake - You stand here at the crossing and wait for the gap to appear and then go. The traffic does not stop but moves around you - left or right - what ever you do, do not change course.
