Location: Rockhampton, Australia

MapWell, we have now moved on, flight from the Gold Coast to Rockhampton late last night, a quick stay at the YHA and a 6.30 pick up this morning to go to the farm. Myella is about an hours drive or so from Rocky and inland. A cattle ranch that buys in steers, fattens them and sells on, as a side line, farm stays. We arrived just in time to catch the tail end of breakfast and then straight in activities, horse riding, motor bikes, cattle etc, etc. Sandra has been a blur of action, just sitting still long enough for a quick coffee and then off again. The weather is glorious here and thank goodness for the pool. I have been playing at being lazy and the book consumtion has risen but the bones are still in one piece. On a horse's back, the ground appears a long way away!!!!.
They have a baby roo and wallaby on the farm that need feeding and there is a fight each day as to who can do this - difference between the two, a wallaby has a smaller face and white markings ( today's fact).

Meals are eaten around a long table and the fire for cooking burns day and night. There is nothing like a piece of toast cooked on the ashes to wake you up in the morning.

This is fun!!!!!!
