Location: KL, Malaysia

MapTalk about rest for the wicked - the night passed in idle sleep - something to be said for manual labour. Everyone has decided to go into KL today at various stages. The zoo is on the outskirts of the city and taxi's are required to get into town. First stop is the Petronas Towers - these are the two huge towers that you can see in every postcard and seem to be the face of Malaysia. Inside is the biggest shopping complex you can imagine with every shop and name - Chanel, Dior etc, etc - I can only look on the outside like a child with my nose pressed to the glass, thank goodness I can not into named goods or I could spend what little there is left (don't panic kids, only joking a little!!!). There is only so much shopping a girl can do and I decide to try and get my highlights done, so much cheaper than the UK but once again, the bank have blocked my card and the rest of the afternoon is spent trying to resolve this. As much as I love my bank, I sometimes wonder if they listen to anything anyone says. Back to the house or carpark and dinner. I am not sure if I like Malaysia - weather is very strange but it is the rainy season - hot and humid but no sun and plenty of rain.
