MapSo far so good. Made it to Katherine, over 300 km's from Darwin but with over 500km's on our odometer including all our side trips.

The roads have been in fairly good condition with usually a shoulder. We seem to be going in the right direction as more traffic is going north at the moment. Lots of grey nomads about.

We have been riding into a headwind so far but hopefully that is about to change as we turn west. We have both found the riding hot and have been trying to finish our ride by lunchtime. Katherine has a good bike shop, so Jen has bought a gel seat cover and Andrew bought a new seat. We must be getting old.

Our requirement is that the caravan park must have a swimming pool to cool us off at the end of the ride. However, from here on there won't be as many pools on the way to Kunnanurra. Hope to leave for Kunnanurra this Sunday 3rd June.

We feel we have seen heaps on our trip so far and by the time we leave NT, I think we will have seen most areas that interest us. You can see from our photos. Well best sign off because we are off to the hot spring in town today.
