Location: Koh Phangan, Asia - South East

MapI tried to create a paypal account online... this was so that I could create a skype account and phone home via computer. The paypal account wouldn't accept my postal code... hmmm... have you guys moved since I left? I'm onto you mom and dad!

Yesterday was hilarious. We just laid around like a bunch of bums.. the weather got sunnier so now I have a rockin tan (just kidding). Went to a Muay Thai boxing match yesterday... it was to say the least bizarre. It's pretty much a ring in some guys backyard in one of the towns... the cabs drive you down what seems to be an alley and you get out and pay more than you need to to watch a boxing match. Two children hop in the ring and start pounding the crap out of each other. Thai men surround the ring screaming their faces off and making bets (which is illegal...). The more fights you see the older the men get... its pretty boring after awhile to be honest, but to the Thais this is their #1 sport. That's right, kicking the crap out of each other is their #1. They are very passionate about it. You sit on steel benches (read: uncomfortable). It's pretty much going to take about a week for my ass to recover. Some Europeans were walking around bare foot in the arena and we all thought they were loony... this was not a "bare foot" kinda place if you catch my drift. Bit steel pipes are everywhere and act as a roof. It seems really sketchy... but everyone was happy. Except for the dudes who got knocked out.

Today we are going to rent some scooters and head into the mainland island to check out waterfalls and elephants and such. The roads are very safe, but we will be careful. We are aware we are no motorbike experts, but it is the best way to do it, and even our British guides at the motel agree. Anyways... I've spent a lot of time on here trying to get the phone thing to work so I gotta run! Will post from a new location in 2 days, on the west coast of mainland Thailand. That's because we are leaving Koh Phangan tomorrow.
