Dinos’s Travel Diary

MapAn excellent day. Although the day began with rain by the time we reached Tintagel Castle it was fine. The Castle is a ruin, and actually not very important or interesting-the views of the Atlantic Ocean that you get are something else. We spent two hours exploring it.
The next stop was St. Michael's Mount, which was also spectacular. We got there by boat because it was high tide, we went later when it was low tide, and was able to walk across the same area. Note you see a picture of this, but not of the other view-this computer isn't accepting my 1gig card, but it is happy to read the 128mb.
The last stop was Land's End, the most SW part of Britain. We went to the Dr Who display which was quite good.
