Alaska’s Travel Diary

Location: Hope Alaska, USA

MapToday has been quite eventful. We went to Saturday Market in Anchorage where all the local artists converge and sell there wares. It is quite fascinating. We were on the road again to a village that Jennifer and I have wanted to visit, a village called Hope, on the other side of Turnagin Arm, a fishing village, but also one where the first gold miners set up camp. We had some adventures that I am sure you can see in the movies and pictures we finally uploaded today. So have a look. Our cabin is darling and is hanging over a cliff of rushing water below. Very cozy, and will probably drop into the high 40's tonight. Audrey is cross stitching baby bibs, Jennifer is making an aghgan and I am still doing embroidery and crewel and reading everything I can get my hands on. Tomorrow we will drop off our goods in Ninilchik and run down to Homer for a couple of days. I might be brave enough to go out Halibut fishing with the tough guys. We will probably upload pics and more movies on Monday, when we get back to Ninilchik.
