Location: Ninilchik, USA

MapWell it is Monday and everyone is washing clothes, I am at the senior center on the computer. We had a very relaxing weekend, yesterday was windy, 59 degrees and at least 49 degrees of windchill. It rained for almost an entire week so the sun will be shining all this week. I will get my license today and start fishing at high tide. Tonight at 9:39 is high tide and so I will be there from 8:30-10:00 with my lure and spinning reel. I am not fly fishing until I prove that I can't fish with my own stuff. The fish are sitting in these holes in the streams and it is a matter of getting the hook in their mouths rather than snagging them as that is illegal. Don caught two this morning as did Bob...Jennifer caught a dolly and Alton caught nothing.....We made lox yesterday and it will take 7 days to cure....I am putting a movie on of our walk to the beach to throw away fishing trash (all fish guts and skins go back in the water for the gulls and eagles.)
