Alaska’s Travel Diary

Tuesday, 21 Aug 2007

Location: USA

MapPacked and ready to go. If we had the funds, we would leave today and drive to Anchorage or the like. I cannot wait to get to a bathroom w/ a bath tub. The stubbles are reaching 1/2 inch on the legs and underarms and I am feeling like a European gal. We are fishless today. However, when Alton and I moved from Deep Creek to the Ninilchik River, I pulled in my line and had a baby Irish Lord on the line. I also saw a beave or fresh water otter across the river from me. The width of the river is only about 20 feet.
Gene & Alton put the cargo carrier on the top of the car today (YEA!) and packed it as well as the car. We are so fortunate to have guys here that don't mind
We will be lucky to have internet for the next few days, so you may not hear from us for a while. We will take many pictures and/or videos, especially while on the ferr.....whales and other wild life. We have stops during daytime hours in Juneau and Ketchikan. Until then........
