Alaska’s Travel Diary

Tuesday, 28 Aug 2007

Location: USA

MapAll day on the road driving from Bellingham, WA to Mountain Home, Idaho (45 miles southeast of Boise). We loved the ferry ride/experience, but are glad to have our feet on the ground, although they be wobbly. I am still experiencing sea legs. Gwynne either isn't 'fessing up' OR doesn't have them.
We had a nice breakfast at Denny's and then waited all day to have steaks for supper.....Outback...yummmmmm! Our waiter's name was Kyle and he reminded us both of Jarrett...we even said so at the same time. This young man had just finished his training as National Guard and wants to fly helicopters. Anyway....he was very personable and nice. We let the staff at the desk know.
What happened to all the comments we were getting? Is it because there are no pictures. Well.....we will make another effort to load now in hopes that you can see the past 'misses'. You may get more than you bargained for, eventually. We have many.
