Location: UK

MapWell it seems I'm finally nearly off...although thanks to my amazing sense of timing it seems I have managed to clash my departure with the most important 2 hours of the last four years i.e. the 2 hours in which England have the opportunity to become the only nation to successfully defend the Rugby World Cup... on top of that, I will actually be en route to South Africa at the time - typical. Oh well, I guess whatever the outcome I'm assured of a pretty good party on arrival!

So alot of you have been asking what my route is so I'll summarise it here for you... obviously, off to S.A. first where I join a truck tour on the 22nd (Lucy's 30th Birthday!) which goes through Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia & Zambia where it finishes at Victoria Falls. Then its off to India at the start of December, the first town months in Southern India and then from February onwards in the North. Into Nepal at the start of April for some trekking and then onto SE Asia from May - July, aiming to hit Oz around the end of July/Start of August.

So, do enjoy the autumn here in England - no irony intended ;-) and just think - the next time I update this I will actually have left!
