Location: Price, Utah, USA

MapIts finally time

Over 3 hours of shopping yesterday morning at retail store had me with a new wardrobe of icebreaker and other great stuff for a damn good price. What I paid for 20 items would have cost me more than double. I have window shopped on this website for years and I made good use of not paying postage to Australia Ė although there may be a little bit of excess baggage on the flight home.

We went to Taco Bell yesterday for lunch, to have the full American experience and it was pretty good. Next stop was groceries! Moab is kinda out of the way and I was thinking that it was going to be an expensive week if we didnít stock up in the city. So stock up we did. The store had huge packets of cereal, 1kg bags of candy and an isle just for beer! Im actually surprised it didnít have a casino in there either. After spending $120 we had a whole trolley full of goods to get us through the next week (or more) and thats pretty good considering it would cost us that much just for dinner for a few nights.

We drove as far as a town called Price yesterday, after Jís epic driving the day before I didnít want to push him, or poor Lester. 117 miles to Moab and we are currently driving. The landscape has changed a little from Nevada. The rock is a different colour and the mountains must be made of something different as the weather has had its effects on them and produced huge colomns of bare rock. I know there is only going to be more of it the further we go along and Moab and the Arches National Park is supposed to be some of the best Ė especially at sunset. I look forward to being in one spot for the week and riding in this world class area. The guy at the store yesterday, considering we spent so long there, printed out information on Moab, the best biking, the best camping and also another place called Fruita which has some wicked single track. I cant wait to share the photos of Moab with you all.

Until then. X
