Location: Stockholm, Sweden

MapWe left Gothenburg this morning and drove north east towards Stockholm, the most northerly destination of our trip. The land east of Gothenburg is similar to northern Germany and Denmark but further to the east and north it becomes very similar to central Alberta. It was like driving west of Red Deer along the David Thompson highway, farms and fields separated by sections of forest. Even the trees are similar, mostly spruce and birch. Our apartment hotel is in Bromma, a suburb of Stockholm. We took a short walk around the hotel to check out the waterfront, have dinner and check out the local public transport.
