Location: Cape Town, South Africa

MapAfter breakfast we worked on getting all of our stuff repacked properly so we could check it at the airport. We hit one last winery on our way out of town and then made our way to Cape Town. As we approached Cape Town we could see Table Mountain from the highway. The clouds were nowhere to be seen and you could see all of Table Mountain perfectly. It really looked like a mountain where someone took a giant sword and just chopped off the top of it to make it totally flat. When we got to Cape Town we made a stop at V&A Waterfront to do a bit of last minute shopping. After that we headed up to Lion's Head to hike the trail up there. Of course once we started hiking we noticed the clouds were starting to roll in. We got about 2/3 of the way up and decided to head back as it was getting very cloudy and we didn't want to be stuck on another mountain in the rain.

We spent some time relaxing and updating all of you lovely people with our latest news and photos and then went to the Pasta Factory for a low key, cheap, and very tasty dinner. We called it an early night as we would be getting up at 5am for our flight to Livingstone.
