Location: Magog, QUE, Canada

MapThis morning we drive to a marsh boardwalk that crosses the Cherry River, and ends in the town of Magog. We tour the beautiful village which is situated on the shores of Lake Memphremagog. After lunch on an outdoor patio, we walk back, noting the many bike riders taking advantage of the designated bike lanes, which are everywhere.
In the afternoon we take a swim in the pond, and relax under the protected overhang of the lodge, which not only provides cover for the vehicles, but is an outdoor kitchen area with picnic table, barbeque and adirondack chairs. The weather is fantastic and it is nice to relax.
Mary Lou and I play a game of pétanque which is very similar to Bocce Ball. It is an old game that belonged to Fred's mom.
Tonight we are attending a dinner party at friends of Ml and Fred which is a little intimidating considering my poor grasp of the French language.
