Location: kunming, China

MapThis city is very busy-you take your life in your hands when you cross the road -even when the police cross you personally. It's not any safer on the pavement-electric mopeds, any number of people on bikes, ladies with lit barbecues on the back cooking kebabs. Kunming is a strange mixture of the wealthy plus pavement sellers-fortune tellers, cardplayers and much more..
Our flight to Guilin was delayed so we were taken to Green Lake Park, where we were the curiosity-this was not a tourist attraction, some had never seen a westerner so requests for photos abounded. How people enjoy their parks-dancing, choirs, musicians, even the transvestite dancing. We loved this place.
we then went to the Bird and flower market which we could have done without. However it was more difficult than Ikea to get out which caused much hilarity.
Dinner was interesting, we have had such a diversity of meals, Kunming's speciality was a hot pot cooked individually-Fortunately we haven't yet had chicken feet or yellow dog!
