Location: Istanbul, Turkey

MapThis place gets better and better...went to the Mossaic museum which is full of restored mossaics from the 5th century, then went over to the Blue Mosque which was beautiful with Islamic archetecture & Art all over the walls and ceiling. But if that wasn't enough, we went to the Basilica Cistern - a cavernous, underground hall with 9m high marble columns and a walkway above crystal clear water. It was only restored and opened to the public 20 years ago, and it was breathtaking!!

Loving the food and the extremely friendly people. Don't forget to check our photos (sorry, the Basilica was very dark and photos didn't work well). By the way, it has been a mission finding a place to upload photos onto disc! Hope you like them.
