Map(I'm still having trouble with IncrediMail).

After all that mucking around, we found a Woolworths supermarket here at New Norfolk.

We did the Cadbury’s tour today. It was quite interesting, but the guide was hard to hear because it is so noisy. Apart from that I spent quite a bit of time at the internet café trying to get IncrediMail to work – but I had no luck.

We checked out the Tahune Forest Air Walk and also Huon Pine Walk. Forestry Tasmania does a marvellous job. On our way there, we called into Geeveston, which has another excellent Information Centre – although this time, it was manned by paid advisers. We also passed through lots of regrowth forest, the oldest was 1966. It all seemed impassable to me in that time.

On the way home we checked out more south coast, including Oyster Cove, which was a really pretty place. We also drove through Sandy Bay and had a look at the Casino. The road from Hobart to New Norfolk follows the Derwent and there looked like there was a boating regatta on. (In the middle of the week??) There is also one bad area of road which has a sign ‘Ye Olde Bumpy Bits’.

There are 2 (used to be 3) other Queensland couples here at the park, so we all met this evening for drinks and a chat. With daylight saving, it doesn’t get dark here till after 8.00pm.

We are having a quiet day today, the first since Hay, so I’m going to catch up on some letter writing – and, hopefully, get IncrediMail working.
