Hi D&J,
Looks amazing! and catching up with you is much more fun than doing boring assignment on inequalities in health! yawn!!!!
love you
Hannah xxxxxxxx
p.s love the movie soundtracks Dave!
Hi Sis,
As long as you're doing those assignments!?!
Glad you like the soundtracks, there was some effort in making sure that the music was appropriate :) and it's good to finally get some appreciation!!!
Hope everythings okay in Cardiff. Lots of Love D&J
From Ma & Pa - Sunday, 22nd October 2006, 09:12 (GMT)
Hi guys just read your update, just think what amusing stories those kids on the train can tell their families. Do'nt blame you guys on the hot springs however if you can get over your british inhibitions it would have been a good experience! We hope you have a good week in Hiroshima albeit probably quite sad and shocking. We're all ok love to both x
Hi Mum, British inhibitions! Us? We did have a Japanese bath the other day, another strange experience, and a very short one, but it's a tick in the box ;) Love to you and dad. Dave
From Dan - Tuesday, 26th September 2006, 21:33 (GMT)
I think we can all agree that Dave's hair is strawberry blonde...coz if it isnt that might mean im ginger too
Hey Brov, we ain't no ging'gers, and I'll fight anyone that says otherwise.... (I'm going to get beaten up, aren't I :( )
From Rich... - Saturday, 18th November 2006, 01:35 (GMT)
Ello, all I can say guys is: "with all me heart take care, and the very, very best for your travels", but having now thorughly considered/reviewed (with the benifit of your hindsight) the merits of travelling; I can now defintootly declare that this new extreme sport of toddler peeing (take note M&T's) and chicken feet eating isn't exactly rocking me boat so I'm glad it's you rather than me!

So I'm dammed happy you're doing your own excellent LP (dammed fine work) and are keeping us "non-travellers" straight, all the best. wishing you many empty seats on trains, hot showers, cooked food stuffs etc , and of course an IT port on your travels !

LOL Rich...

P.S. Dave any Sisters of Mercy in the Far East ?
Hi Rich, good to hear that our experiences are having at least some affect :) It's not that bad really, although yesterday we experienced a new low, as we saw a pooing toddler, and right next to the tourist info sign as well, we did move away smartish. Like most places around the world, this is a Sisters free zone, the Chinese (And I mean all the Chinese, from old men to young girls) prefer light weight 80's style ballads, which is pumped through speaker systems dotted all over the place, there is no escape... thank the lord for ipods ;)
From Vik & Rob - Sunday, 26th August 2007, 05:00 (GMT)
Hey guys, how does it feel to be back home? We have only a few days left until we leave Oz and head to New Zealand. Looking forward to catching up with you there! PS. Cheap as chips camper vans abound in Cairns and Melbourne if you are looking to buy rather than rent... lots of desperate backpackers looking to sell before heading on but beware of unpaid speeding tickets and e-tolls!!
Strange but Strange but comforting, great to see our friends and family and have a semblance of normality. Thanks for the camper tips and see you soon ;)
From Nan and Ernie - Saturday, 21st July 2007, 09:31 (GMT)

Hi Jo & Dave,
We are just packing for a few days in Germany. Not as exciting as China but I do not have to grow a beard to scare the natives.
You should enjoy the train ride and Beijing station is not for the feint hearted.
Lots of love
Cool. We did the train station today to purchase our tickets. You're right, it's a pretty scary place. People everywhere, and the Chinese don't queue!
From mum, dad, han and ch - Sunday, 10th September 2006, 09:08 (GMT)

Hey you two! Pictures are ace, you guys look like seasoned travellers already! Sorry I missed u at the airport, I was actually flying out of T4 - doh! Enjoy yourselves out there - keep smiling! Mal x
Hi Mal,

No problem, after we made final purchases & had a quick bite to eat, we didn't have much time at all, so you didn't miss much.

See you soon
From Mike - Monday, 11th September 2006, 16:23 (GMT)
Hi Guys,
Hope your both well, Love the photos especially the wall. Keep posting them, we can all take a guess on what day you did your washing!
Chill to da core!
Washing? Lets put it this way, I'm well into recycling :)

Consider us chilled.

If I have time later I'll stick up a short movie of the wall, we're in a hotel with broadband for 1 night so better make full use of it.

Cheers & thinking of you guys.
From Hannah - Monday, 11th September 2006, 16:40 (GMT)
Hi Jo & beardy Dave!
Looks like you're having a fab time. Hope you're not eating dogs!!!!!
Love you loads
Hannah xxx
Hi Han,

So far, we've managed to stick to chicken and beef only. Last night Jo ordered a chicken dish that included everything except breast meat. Feet, head, and many parts I couldn't name. I really thought if I got served up something like that, I'd have a go at eating it, but in the end we both picked at the edges and left it. Maybe next time !?!
From Niki and Andrew - Thursday, 14th September 2006, 17:46 (GMT)
Hi Sis and Dave, hope you are having fun ? We are still in good old Zante as our plane has been cancelled and we have to stay another 24 hrs here. Will email you when I get back to the UK and advise you of everything else that went wrong on our 2 weeks !!!
Read your email, sounds like a nightmare. Our travels are a doddle in comparison :)

Love you both D&J
