Hi Tams,

It sounds like you are having fun. I have been busy with my training. Yesterday I tried out my triathlon wetsuit for the first time. I went out with the Chicago Tri Club. I did a one mile lake swim in 35:12 and then I took 22:20 to transition (remove the wet suite and put on running shoes) and to run 2.5 miles. After this I rode my bike home. It was a great training event. I hope to do it again soon. On Sunday I have a triathlon up in Northern Illinois – wish me luck.

Jeff is in Ireland now. You may want to look him up.

If you get down to the south cost of England then my friend Jamie is Poole.

Darryn I don't know how you do it! I may contact Jeff when I get to Ireland. We shall see how things flush out. It is another grey rainy day here in Manchester. My motivation to leave the house is low! I am doing laundry at the moment. Chat soon, Hugs, T

Betty's - the biggest rip off ever, no wonder you think England is so expensive!!!!!! York is just a hop skip and jump away from Leeds - you should have popped into to see Avs!! I am so happy you are seeing the beautiful north of England....does everyone sound like me???
I know Betty's is a rip off but sometimes you just have to do those kinds of touristy things! And it was very pleasant! When I went throught Leeds on the train it was to late to call you and get phone numbers. Oh well, next trip! I did think about it. And no everyone sounds different to my ears. Some are easier to understand then other's. Hugs, T

Hi Tams (Party 'Aminal 'Hic! OOps! Animal)
Has the rain stopped?
Any old Synagogues in Dublin?
Did you get my question about your bracelet--I am having Internet problems daily (maybe the router) so I sent my 1st message twice and since you didn't answer, I guess it went astray.
Good evening with Arnie and Esther at Sassafrass. The reno inside is gorgeous , the glass room. Dad & Arnie ordered from the regular menu not Summerlicious-then dessert Chez Weinstein.
Waiting for more pictures.
Bye Puss >^..^<
I got your message about my bracelet. And I a not worried at all about it. Ireland has been sunny and cool and then cloudy and cooler, sweater on sweater off sweater on sweater off. You know. Pics coming soon. I am using this girls tiny tiny little itsy bitsy computer. Very Cool! Hugs, T

You look like you're having a great time. Here, the weather is off and on rainy. It can't seem to make up its mind. Am back to my usual driving vehicle. Last Sun. I was rear-ended by 1 of 3 other cars hit from behind as my daughter-in-law and I were on our way to a Blue Jays game. The driver responsible was charged with careless driving. I was o.k. but Leanne had mild whiplash. The police officer finished with us first, so we got down to the game by the 3rd inning, in time to see the Jays win. Never a dull moment.
Glad you are both fine! T

Hi Tamarra:
We are all great here. I got my car yesterday and it is great. You are going to love it. It has been raining buckets for days. Mom got drenched at golf on Tues and we closed my course on Wed because of the amount of rain. They are playing the Canadian Open at Glen Abbly in Oakville and the course looks like a big lake. Many delays. Aaron is in Stratford with the A family and is picking up the girls and bringing them home on Sun. Mon. they are all off to the South western USA. I offered him my GPS and he will pick it up tomorrow.
Love Dad
Glad all is well! Sorry to hear about the rain! It rained a little today but not to bad! Enjoy the car! Drive safely. T

Hey there,
It's been crazy busy here - we had 14 kids here yesterday for Peyton's birthday - the big 6!! Twins are hilarious - they had their first wimming lessons last week and did well. Peyton passed level 3 - little mermaid! My car is on the fritz and going to the shop today. in We are planning camping for next weekend and a big trip later in August.
I finished the first draft of my curriculum - 111 pages later! I get the notes this week and then another week to make changes. Have fun and see you soon.
peyton writes: I wrote a song in my pony book.
Hi Peyton and Lisa! I look forward to hearing your song when I get back! Congrats on finishing! Hugs, T

Chicago in the summer…I have been busy going to the beach, doing swim work out and bike work out, trying to learn how to run, and hitting the street fairs. Last night I went to the Venetian night fireworks with Danny. This will be our last fireworks in Chicago before he moves to Florida next in August. Today I am going out on a friends sail boat. On Thursday I will be going to see the Hunchback of Norte Dame the musical.

Mike Demas and his fiancé are coming to visit this week. They are coming for Lolla Polooza, and then they are heading off to Hawaii to get married.

It is not as exciting a gallivanting around Europe, but it has been nice and sunny out and I have been doing my best to take advantage of the summer.
Keep having fun.

Sounds like fun! Hugs, T

Hi Tammy! I haven't forgotten you but I was buried under mounds of paperwork and have just come up for air. I was teaching Co-op again this summer and for some reason, it was a lot more intense than usual. Now that it's over, I can resume my life. Your trip sounds fabulous - much more appealing to me than some of your other adventures. No matter where in the world you go, you always have a great time. Keep enjoying! I love following your blog. TTFN.
Enjoy the rest of your summer! Are you going away?
