Hey lovelies...glad to hear you're having a fab time. Not disappointed by the highly amusing website, am chuckling away as if you were here in the room...!
Guess who's off to China in the next week or so? Steve just can't live without your attentions Sarah!!
Lots of love xxx
Just as we're leaving....! Glad to see we're enriching your life even thought we're not there (we aim to please). Missing the drunkan get-togethers and the pics of Reb's wedding but I'm sure you'll keep us informed x
From sue - Tuesday, 19th September 2006, 08:28 (GMT)
Oh my God, you're going to come back wafer thin!!!!
Actually our thighs are getting even bigger...with pure muscle! Plus we are making up for exercise with massive meals...chopsticks no longer slow us down!
From Demelza - Tuesday, 26th September 2006, 18:03 (GMT)
Just thought I'd say hi! Just read your diary so far (computer and internet problems happen in Somerset
too - it's amazing how often telewest doesn't work!), it sounds like you're having the experience of a lifetime. Hope you don't quiz me on the diary entries as I have had to read them whilst also reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Dear Zoo to Hannah - so caterpillars, salami, lions and seahorses have all got mixed up in there somewhere! Hope you're both ok, I look forward to the next installment. Demelza xx
well we like to keep you reading something highly intellectual as well as kiddie stuff! hope the bump is ok i'll buy it some of my usual fab pressies when i get back dont u worry! xx
From Janie - Tuesday, 3rd October 2006, 11:59 (GMT)
My new mission in life (and I choose to except it) is not only to keep you top of the "5 most visited this month" but to get yo into the the "overall 5 most visited"
At last a purpose in life...
Thankyou, we like to offer a purpose. Another purpose maybe to raise money and send it to us, as if you are not already fed up of us wearing the same clothes everyday, we are....
From Janie - Tuesday, 3rd October 2006, 12:03 (GMT)
Oh and just a quick question before I get back to the world of work...which on eof you is writing, it always seems to be in no-person and its confusing the hell out of me. Take care xx
Thats the task, if you know us well enough you can surely tell... Maybe it's neither of us...
From Barrie - Friday, 13th October 2006, 01:48 (GMT)
How was Hiroshima? Did you go to Miajima?
Hi Barrie, thanks so much once again for putting up with us! My Dad says you and Yasuko are on the verge of Martyrdom for it! We did go to all the places you suggested (see diary entries) and haven't had chance to download the photos yet - just give us time! Thanks again x
From Neil and Louise - Tuesday, 3rd October 2006, 05:54 (GMT)

From Lynette - Tuesday, 17th October 2006, 03:43 (GMT)
Hi Ladies! Your fantastic travel tales continue I see! It sounds as though your enthusiasm and sense of humour are intact, so it seems like you're doing a bang up job on your own. I arrived home about 5 days ago and reality truly kicked in when I returned to work today....wait while I control my enthusiasm.... The rest of my time in China was good, but tough going as well. It rained all but 1 day out of 10....so we "climbed mountains" as you say in the pouring rain - how can you beat that for good fun?! On the one sunny day we did a "scenic bike ride"....It was scenic, but after 8.5 hours on a not very ergonomically correct seat travelling over cobblestone paths my rear end was bruised beyond all hope of recovery and I couldn't have cared less how scenic the scenery was. You two would have loved it! Our Chinese tour leader was a hoot. He called chopsticks straw picks and when he was sweating on the bike ride he said his body was raining. I just love broken English! I'll check back every now and again to help make sure you get enough hits to keep your ratings up. Anyhow, enjoy your ongoing adventures! I can't wait to read more of your upcoming travel journals. Take care and safe travels,
Lynette
Thinking of you the other day Lynette, when we met a lovely Canadian on the train in Japan (you are all fab aren't you?!) and when we were living in the 7 eleven for lunches! Glad you're on board and following us. We are looking so forward to travelling the USA and Canada, who knows we may see you soon! Take care x
From Janie - Saturday, 21st October 2006, 06:31 (GMT)
Sarah, you look like you're wasting away! I hope there is some of you left to make it home next year. Oh and emily, the dressing gown/ kimono type thing- looking good!
Hey, thanks for the compliment but I am packing in the food now and will have to buy more clothes as I am eating like a horse. When I'm back I will have visited the USA, no way that I'll be thin after there! Thanks though x x
From Harlene - Saturday, 14th July 2007, 10:06 (GMT)
Hey there!
you're in one of my favourite places in the world: Las Vegas! Make sure you have a Champagne Brunch at the Manderlay Bay, all the food you can eat and all the Champagne you can drink for about $25!! Also worth a look is the Bellagio fountains.

I also saw your pics of Australia, you've been to some of the places I went to in Oz, fabulous pics and brought back some great memories for me so thanks for sharing!!
all the best for the rest of your trip and enjoy Vegas. Remember: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!
Harlene
Thanks so much for your input, we're so glad that you are enjoying the site, only 7 weeks left! But we may have to find a new dream when we get back....!
From Stif - Sunday, 10th September 2006, 12:25 (GMT)

From bethan - Sunday, 10th September 2006, 15:07 (GMT)
yo, yo yo! missing you already! no really, i'd forgotton what you looked like - so thank god for the wonder of modern technology that is the digital camera. meant to text you last friday, but i accidently left my brain at home, so could only remember to do it for about 30 seconds and always when i was with a patient, and never when i had my phone in my hand.... so no text. ah well. i'm sure this rambling, totally pointless message will more than make up for it! no news, you've only been gone 2 days. maybe in another 2 days..... b x
Not seen any deaf people yet though did see a programme on T.V. about deaf Chinese people so i felt better! Sign language has proved useful when trying to indicate to Chinese people youwant to takefood away.
From Shirley & Bernard - Sunday, 10th September 2006, 15:39 (GMT)
Good luck with the loos. Shirley won't use them either. If you see a half decent hotel go in there, they usually have both western & eastern bogs. At least they will have paper !
Have conquered that fear and have stolen enough toilet paper to last us the year!
From sue + jen - Sunday, 10th September 2006, 16:35 (GMT)

From Shirley - Thursday, 14th September 2006, 18:10 (GMT)
Good to hear all is going well. When Iwas on the Great Wall I had a problem coming down the big stone stairs, vertigo or what. The Xian Warriors are a sight to behold are'nt they.We found them fascinating.Vietnam is a lovely country, with nice people, and wonderful food, but watch out for the bikes. They seem to make their own rules up as they go. The toilets are a laugh a minute, but when needs must you know.As for the spitting, well India has to take first place. They even had great big spitoon bowls at the Taj Mahal, which was really gross.Barrie is enjoying his break here in Canada. He's going to the U.S.A.tomorrow to spend a few days with some old friends in Boston, then he's back here until October, when he leaves to go back to Japan.Your dad said he was going on broadband this month Sarah, but I don't know whether it's happened yet.Continue to enjoy everything, love Shirley.
Hi Shirl! The Great Wall was well scary! Its so high and rickety I was nearly dead by the time we actually got to the wall! Having problems getting in and out of Japan - visa and costs at the mo but really want to go there it seems so excting and others on the tour have been and say its fantastic! Cant wait for a country where they dont spit at you...! Dad is on broadband, heaven preserve us Shirl! Love to Barrie and Family xx
From Dad - Thursday, 14th September 2006, 20:04 (GMT)

From Janie - Friday, 15th September 2006, 17:38 (GMT)
Can't believe I know a real life blogger, keep it coming.
love janie x
Thats right, but a blogger who can't type, forgets things and had a camera that wont share its images... a lot to learn yet!
