dear greg and amy,
nice website, just want to be the first to post a message!!!!!!!!!!!
From viki - Friday, 1st April 2005, 12:57 (GMT)
oh it's so exciting to read about what you're getting up to! soulds like you're seeing some amazing things, and so varied as well. don't envy you the heat though.

greg your picture is hillarious, and i mean that in a good way promise! well the weather starting to pick up her in blighty, we actually have a bit of sunshine which is a change form the sea mist brighton has been engulfed in over the last few days.

keep posting the picuters, and greg see if you can imitate a different indie/pop star each time!

love to you both

Bizarrely it has started to rain here, sunny in England, what is going on? Will do my best on the picture front, however my repetoire is limited to chubby pop stars in bad hats, suggestions here please.

Hope all OK in Brighton, having really good time here, starting to get used to the living out of the backpack however am missing the odd thing from back home, such as decent music, mini eggs and a proper newspaper.

Love Greg and Amy.
From Dave - Thursday, 12th May 2005, 01:43 (GMT)
Sounds like you're having far too good a time! All here in Manchester is still fairly rosy. Even got some sunshine today!
I will not mention football other than to say how the once mighty have fallen. We're now the only team in europe to have won a proper european cup twice and to be playing in the third tier of our domestic league! Good old Forest always pushing the envelope!
Sam got back about ten days ago and had a wonderful trip. She managed not to kill her mum and vice versa. Anyway must sign off as patients to irradiate! Will speak properly soon,
Keep on keepin' on,
Love Dave.

Thanks for the the message, glad Sam had a great time on her travels, good to hear you are OK.

Hope all your DIY is going well and the house is coming on, can't believe there is sun in the north, I think you are lying cos you are jealous!

Take care, look forward to hearing from you, lots of love,

From Paddy - Sunday, 1st May 2005, 01:30 (GMT)
Saints put a 4-3 hurting on Norwich today. They are out of the dropzone. As any hardened Saints man will know;it's not over til its over.
Pip Pip OLd Chap!
Yes, it would appear that our fate is postponed for another week or two, I'd like to say that as I am on my travels I don't care, but I would be lying, I keep finding myself sat on crappy PCs at about 11pm our time checking to see how badly we have done.

Oh well, enough grumbling, hope all OK with you, Wheeler Junior and Mr and Mrs Wheeler.

Love Greg and Amy.
From Dad - Sunday, 6th March 2005, 19:59 (GMT)
Have got you set up on my favourites so I can keep an eye on you now.
Promise to keep you posted about the Saints
From Sgt Summers - Thursday, 10th March 2005, 13:47 (GMT)
Good luck guys, I'll try and keep the quiz team together til you get back!

Don't worry, I'll let you know all the goss on who Beardy is/isn't seeing now, how the North star is doing and how the wonderful world of smelly fragrance is going (you know what I'm saying here).

Have fun,

PS Anyone know what the roadsign HR stands for?
Funny guy....

You ain't going to win 1 pound in the quiz in the whole year we are away! Even with Beardy's help you won't get more than 50%.

Smell you later,

From Steve Hughes - Saturday, 12th March 2005, 13:06 (GMT)
Dear Amy & Greg, Sounds very exciting! Have a great time and keep in touch. Steve

From Kevin Sim - Sunday, 13th March 2005, 18:18 (GMT)
Well I thought I would test this out and see how easy it is to use.

Hope you had a good flight and Greg hope you are not stressed anymore.

Will write something when something worth writing about happens. So this will probably be about this time next week when we have lost to the Boro.

Have a nice week in Thailand

Kev, Liz, and Holly xx
Am trying not to think about Saints, don't depress me! Will drop you an e-mail when we have done a bit more, at moment still getting used to scary Bangkok. Very busy, very manic, very hot, 2 days in and we are knackered already.

Love Greg and Amy.
From Bryan & Marie - Sunday, 13th March 2005, 23:17 (GMT)

Hi there guys!
Pleased to hear you are having a fab time. Been thinking about you lots and am v. jealous! Weather here has even perked up a bit - didn't need to wear a coat today! Phew what a scorcher as your dad would say Amy!
Saw triplets born on Weds. That's about as exciting as my life gets!

Hannah xxxx

Take care

Amy (+ Greg).

PS Any of the triplets named after you?
From Olivia - Saturday, 19th March 2005, 10:04 (GMT)
Hello Amy,

I am missing you! Flower is getting even bigger and fatter so much so that she is making mummy anaemic! It's warm and sunny here and I have been doing lots of running around in the sunshine. It's Patrick's party this afternoon so I'm bound to get a bit stroppy! Baby Amelia and baby Max are both getting big but are always asleep when I see them and don't wake up however much I prod them! Hope you are having a lovely time. love from Olivia xxxx
Hello Olivia, glad to hear Flower is OK and Mummy too. Hope you had a great time at Patrick's party and you are behaving now I am gone! Today visited big temples, very exciting, thank you very much for your e-mail, let me know what you are up to. Miss you too!

Lots of love Amy.
From Kevin Sim - Saturday, 19th March 2005, 10:44 (GMT)
Greg rode a girls bike ha ha!!

Glad you are beginning to relax now and also enjoying it. i think it is always hard to adapt to a different country!

Well I will email tomorrow about all the footy results and how I think that leaves us. I am sorry but from now to May you are going to hear about everything Saints do, but probably on email rather than this that I will save for travel from now on!!

Kev, Liz and Holly xx

From John & Hazel - Sunday, 20th March 2005, 17:15 (GMT)
At last Saints win away 3-1 at Boro (Crouch 2 Jakobsen 1)and we are out of the bottom three - 3 ponts behind Fulham 4 behind Pompey. Just read your latest message - how did you find a bike big enough I thought all the Thais were only 5ft tall! I guess you may not be able to post a message for awhile if you are on the trail to Cambodia so look after yourself and Amy. I know its only a week since you left but it seems a lot longer. Best wishes to Julie contact you again soon Dad & Hazel PS The fish are still alive and kicking.
Well we have found an internet connection in Siam Reap in Cambodia, very slow but just about useable. Glad to hear fish OK, hope you are well, got to see footy live on cable TV last night (in our room which cost $2 each!), Saints looked pretty good (just as I leave the country they finally find some form!). Pompey for the drop I think!
From webster - Monday, 21st March 2005, 13:59 (GMT)
Glad to hear yr having a top time, T. Am getting quite envious reading about yr travels. Still, we're starting to get excited about going away in a couple of weeks. 8 days without stupid work. Carnt wait.
Elly got well into playing Pro Evo Soccer on the PS2 over the weekend. Stranger things have happened (like Saints winning away and Emile 'Bambi on ice' Heskey being recalled to the England squad). She's takes her driving test in 3 weeks; so hopefully we'll have the Turquoise Dream road-bound by mid April. Should make a huge difference to us - especially Elly. Thanks again, fella. Say 'Hi' to Amy and Mrs. Greg when you see her. It's a long way to come to see if yr wearing clean pants and washing behind yr ears. Take care, kids. And remember...if it ain't tip top, it ain't tip top.
Glad to see you have got Elly into football games, it was always on the cards! I am guessing you and the PS2 have both been consigned to the garage. Things here good, Mum has made it here OK and says Hello, we are planning our next move onto Phnom Penh tomorrow.

Greg & Amy.
From webster - Thursday, 24th March 2005, 12:34 (GMT)
Just a quick update on Hendy/Friends Reunited thing. Looks like it's a hoax. Steve says he's still around in S-town. Thought you might like to know.
Take care kids. By the by, do they have Easter in Cambodia?
No to Easter I think, haven't see any evidence of it. Too hot for chocolate anyway. As for Hendy, what a funny guy he is.

Hope all OK back in Blighty and that the car still has 4 wheels and an engine.
From Hannah V - Friday, 25th March 2005, 08:54 (GMT)
Hi guys
Am loving hearing about all your travels - keep it up. V. good distraction from revision. Sadly none of the triplets named after me despite my proffering my name badge at every opportunity! Rubbish!
Just thought I would tell you about a hugely entertaining game that us crazy students play that might while away the hours on your long journies. Basically you have to combine the name of a famous person with a country, for example Sean Phnom Penh, Argentina Turner, John GIbralta etc etc.Do you see what I did there?? Ok not hugely entertaining maybe - but you must remember we medics get excited about watching someone have their gallstones removed!
Anyway, continue to have a fab time guys!
Han xx
Hope all going well, you are going to have to get a bigger name badge, perhaps even a banner. Thanks for the entertaining idea, if we are really, really, really bored I'll think of it. Post again soon,

Love Amy (and Greg)
From big mutha - Sunday, 27th March 2005, 12:48 (GMT)
hi all, just to let all the readers of greg and amys page know that i am alive and kicking, and the naughty pair havent managed to shake me off yet. Talk about greg and amys big world bicker though, blimey, they can bicker about the money, the heat, the times of buses/trains/tuktuks, you name it, i tell you, i think the only reason i am here is on a U n peace mission, anyway, hi to all my fans in the uk, from esteemed oldster on very intrepid trip, the womens institute will be most impressed when i get back with my slide show, p s dont you'all think its rude for the youngsters to rude your email posting s over your shoulder?xxx mrs greg
You talk too much.
From Dave - Wednesday, 30th March 2005, 03:53 (GMT)
Hello, sounds like you both having a great time. Do they still have the revolving viewing tower at the top of the Baiyoke? Sam said she'd try and e.mail you the details of the placed she stayed in/visited in Nam. Not sure if she's managed to yet. If not give her an e.mail and tell her to get a wriggle on.
Keep up the good work with the very detailed diary type report things, it's good to hear what you've been spending your leisure time doing!
Bye for now, will e.mail soon,
Yes we are having a great time, did not get to revolving tower (too polluted in Bangkok to see anything). Sam's e-mail did not work have let her know.

Hope DIY is going well, thanks for message, send again soon,

From John, Hazel and Amy - Saturday, 2nd April 2005, 21:51 (GMT)
Sending this from hot and sunny Fuerteventura - just sat in abar and watched Saints get beaten 3-1, with a Chelsea fan making the odd comment (he was being generous) at least Palace lost so we are still out of the bottom three. How are things going with you - we are having a great week here although Amy is homesick for Jason. Went out dolphin and whale watching the other day on a catamaran - saw 50 plus dolphins sailing with us fantastic sight. Hope you are all well and look forward to your next report! Contact you again when we get home. Mind how you go love Dad; Hazel and Amy
Still alive, currently in Hoi An, no internet for the last few days hence no messages/diary entries. Not seen any dolphins or whales here, mostly lizards and cockroaches! Saw the Saints game, pretty naff I thought, Chelsea weren't even very good.

Hope you are all OK, will try and ring later in the week when you are back in the UK.
