Dont know me at all. im just a random stranger from the land of google. What a wonderful thing google is. would never have found your blog, pics and this planetranger site what so ever.
everything on your page here is so inspiring. i would love to be able to do the things you girls are doing. just from the photos i see so much beauty all over the world. must say you girls have been all over.

i have not even left ontario yet lol. one day. africa would be one of my top places to go, well i think through the euro regions first. ooo the thought of scorpions in my house... would take some adjusting and some well planning ahead for africa.
anyways im gonna take off for now. thanks so much for your stories and info you have here. I shall return soon to see if there has been more added. please take care of yourselves. peace. Mike J

I'm currently gettin my butt kicked by that WMNS course. However, through my business courses, i've learned that all managers must possess the ability to delegate work efficiently. That said, your next assignment is to write my essay for me on any common cultural practice. 6-7 pages. don't go to crazy on the external sources.... and smart words, but don't get too fancy or she'll know its not me....lets keep a four syllable max. The assignment is due March 25th. Good luck! Oh yeah, hope all is well in Kenya. We did pub golf last night and it was pretty darn funny....except some weener went dressed in a forkin diaper.....what a crazy human! Otherwise life is still pretty good. They got a special deal on 1 L boxes of chocolate milk at the corner store for $1.19 which is pretty dang money. Gotta run tho. peaceee
andrea totally agrees that the choco milk deal is dang exciting. her little tip - check the one at earl and albert. sweet deals to be had.
will shout back via email in a bit. the connection in kajiado is pretty dire at the moment. they are rationning electricity today so i've got to be selective and make rules about mixing business and pleasure.

From Dad Webber - Wednesday, 31st January 2007, 01:49 (GMT)
Hi Guys,
Glad to see the site and daily entries....especially the pictures. What a change Cairo must be from the English countryside. Andrea..some clarification so that you aren't up nights trying to sort out Jack Webber's relation. He is your Great Grandfather. He is the only one of 13 children who left the beautiful N Devon countryside and settled in....of all places....Hudson, Quebec, where your grandfather Webber was born.
Continue to travel well, enjoying all the new wonders and keep those antenna's up.
Dad xoxoxox
thanks for the clarification dad - i can finally sleep! thats what i thought, but there was definitly a LOT of confusion surrounding it. in luxor now & taking the overnight train back to cairo tonight. tried to call the other night, but the egyptian phones were too difficult to conquer. will try again before we leave for nairobi though. and yes, antennas are SO up there.
speak soon.
From caro - Wednesday, 31st January 2007, 01:28 (GMT)
little garden flat is sooo lonesome without you. don't get lost in all the sand and bustle, and wow you are having adventures!
p.s. how is it possible you get up for the SUNRISE and we had such troubles getting up for MUFFINS last week? priorities, much? haha xx
apples and oranges man!
all i know is i would take caro and afternoon tea over sheesha and egyptian men any day!
i can't say the same for andrea though.

love and miss so much.

From Gill - Tuesday, 6th February 2007, 00:23 (GMT)
I Love you webber. You are doing it right babe - haggas in Scotland, quaint villages and an intense market day in England.... And i wish I was back there experiencing the crazyness of Cairo. Road Rules do not even exist there so watch your back! You are looking gorgeous and so happy. Try and fit oz in there somewhere. I'm moving to tropical queensland where the rainforest meets the reef. And where did you get that awesome red leather jacket from?!?!? ..... Its like SO COOL!
Love you my darling. xxxx
ps: Met up with your mates and had a fun night out in Bondi... good times. x
i love you more gilly. thought you would approve of th UK leg of the trip. thought of you lots while in london - especially at the markets and while celebrating autralia day at a little pub. the scooner of fosters brought back fond memories. so the sydney girl moves to queensland eh? somehow i am not surprised. where exactly and to do what? happy to hear that it worked out with those boys - who else could i count on to show them a good time.
best aussie mate eva!
must admit i'm a wee bit jelous though. i'll get back there someday soon.
love & miss babe.
ps. its a pretty HOT jacket eh? got it from this HOT australian friend of mine who has the best style...
From Marco Li - Tuesday, 6th February 2007, 00:11 (GMT)
hey webber,

good to hear from you and that you are safe. too bad i didn't get to see you again before you left. when you get back be sure to come see my new house!

hi friend. true say. 'tis a shame that we didn't get to eat any more delicious ethiopian food together before i left. but i promise that i will come to your new digs when i get home and cook kenyan food for YOU - now that will be a change!
xo ps. world cross-country championships are in mombassa this month - maybe fate will take me there and i will get to see those crazy kenyans run!
From Sarah - Monday, 19th February 2007, 00:51 (GMT)

it is really great to hear you are both safe and sound and having a good time
neeless to say i miss you already and it has not been 48 hours
your health card and blue cross card came yesterday and i received your visa card today so much for timeliness I will try to get in touch with jane or brian so we can coordinate a courier package to minimize the amount of time for you two to wait for pertinent documents to arrive you might even forget about visa international since i already have your card.we should figure this out. i will also need jackie's address anyway there is really no news on the home front so....just watch out for tube doors since this just gives me one more thing to worry about
love and kisses

You go girls! We are so proud of our world traveling cousin! Any thoughts to swinging back through Alaska on your way home? Jenna Kate would be thrilled, as well as the rest of us! We are enjoying your pictures. My mom thinks your friend looks a little like Elaine. Take care and have fun! Jill
she does look a little bit like elaine. never thought of that.

thought of you all the other day when andrea and i stepped off a boat onto phillae island (island with a pharonic temple in aswan, egypt) and they said "welcome to alaska!"

by the way, brought many a pic of our summer adventures with me to show the kids in e-wuas. i think they will think the glacier pics are so NEATO!

love and miss you all up there!
