Fantastic mate - make sure you get seriously involved with some Sangsom for me. Oh yeah and if you go to Phi Phi go to Shark Point where you can snorkel with (reef) sharks, its immense!
From Nancy - Wednesday, 9th May 2007, 11:29 (GMT)
Are you quite sure they are Irish girls? They would be called Bernadette and Mary if they were. Or Teresa. You need to check. How come the Aussies are so good at sport when they are actually so dumb and stupid at it? Lovexxx

Hello, I have tried to text you but they are not delivering I think. Will read this later as I am just off to assembly. Have skimmed it for now but seems amazing experience already.
Must go, watch out for ladie boys but at least you have had training in that
Love
Ellen

This is great Joel, really interesting and very good reading. Keep doing it. It's good to have all the detail and know what you're doing. Miss you, but it sounds like fun and the experience of a lifetime. Bit dangerous sometimes though, especially with guides on drugs like that, and all those shifty types about, glad you are all sensible, take care all of you, don't get dragged into anything. That football in the jungle was fantastic. Surrreal. It's the international language, football, isn't it. love xxx
From Dad - Wednesday, 21st March 2007, 19:41 (GMT)
Great to read,
Keep it up, look forward to the next installment
From Nancy - Thursday, 22nd March 2007, 12:39 (GMT)
Joel, I'm seriously worried about some of this content -- it's 'Ash, Lee and I have just had our free breakfast..' not 'me, ash and lee..'. What on earth would Elma or Mrs Vaughan say? Lovexxx.
From Bill - Thursday, 22nd March 2007, 16:06 (GMT)
Mate,
whatever you do not stop writing these installments!! its my new OC!! good story and i know the characters! haha.

also i know your gonna be a pro pretty soon, but do not let the thai rip you off just keep bartering and even start walking off at some points, i watched my dad to it pretty well in indo for two years! you'll save big time!

I'm glad your having an awesome time and there really isn't much to tell about wantage compared to what you've said, but arbery is missing you big time especially Amy, but don't worry i'll take your mantle soon enough!

My jealousy has reached fever pitch don't stop this dairy!!! Its an awesome read!!

cheers mate, i'll carry it on just for you, you can expect the next episode shortly...
From Nancy - Friday, 23rd March 2007, 10:48 (GMT)
Wogan played Barry White this morning. Thought of the Ronaldinho lady boy. Wonder if they have his dress in my size.
The Proclaimers are playing Cornbury on 7 July. Do you want a ticket? How many? Only £45 each. Must be worth coming home for. lovexxx
yeh, ive already enquired about them actually, would definately be worth coming home to see them perform 1 song repeatedly for a set, are you going? x
From Em - Friday, 23rd March 2007, 15:59 (GMT)
Sounds alright I guess, your acting like you can't get any of this in wantage, I mean it was only this morning that I rode an elephant to school. Missing you and I'll sort out facebook.xxx

mate, it looks like you having a LUSH time!! seen some of your pics on facebook! keep updating them! car is running well. take care x
From Lo - Sunday, 25th March 2007, 17:56 (GMT)
Due to the content of your posts Mum is concerned that you're spending all your time "catching malaria and being murdered by opium-head ladyboys" (the actual language used has been modified somewhat). Could you perhaps write some posts along the lines:
"Today we went to a museum. It was very fun. We had dinner in a most civilised French restaurant and drank some lovely orange squash. We are going to get an early night so we can watch the sun rise then go to church. I feel enriched, sober and in very good health. PS No one massaged my legs whilst taking a slash today. It was a good day and I did nothing dangerous."
What do you think?
xx
in fact, your quite write, im just exaggerating everything and we are just soaking up the culture and trying some fine food...but for the fans im gonna carry on with my made up stuff!xxx
From beardy - Sunday, 25th March 2007, 18:46 (GMT)

Gosh, Joel, it all sounds incredible. So lovely. What an amazing place it must be, that far eastern land across the sea. People, crocodile, monkey... man, all you need is a lion too... The stuff of dreams and aspirations, come true. lovexxx
PS But you can't have one.
From Adam Matthews - Wednesday, 28th March 2007, 09:50 (GMT)
Hey Joel, glad to hear you're having a great time. Looking forward to seeing you in Sydney, cant wait to see your fine peachy bum on the Ozzie beaches. Love Abs

From Nancy - Wednesday, 28th March 2007, 11:25 (GMT)
That was your father's fault about the face, Joel.
How weird that that you got so burnt despite using that 7-year old factor 8. Send it home and I shall take it back for a refund. Do not go anywhere nor do anything without being covered up for the next few days. Bobble hat, mittens and goggles too. Those nice people in Sydney will understand. lovexxx
k, its in the post. xx
From amy! - Thursday, 29th March 2007, 18:29 (GMT)

Memories of those killer ham sandwiches we were trying to import at Toronto... It's a good way to get someone else to clean your boots for you though. Good thinking. I don't like the tone of that women in the hostel one bit, speaking to all you lovely English boys like that. What's her number, I'll sort her out. Find somewhere else sharpish. Go see Judy, she'll be nice to you. lovexxx
PS There are deadly jelly fish off the coast of Queensland. Don't go swimming.
From Hayley - Friday, 30th March 2007, 10:28 (GMT)

Hey Joel - Sounds like you are having a wonderful time... dispite the sunburn and the negative welcome from the Aussies! Really does sound amazing, and your making me incredibly jealous! The pictures are great, the stories even better - make sure you keep 'em coming! Take care, lots of love to you and the boys. xxx
