So glad Cancun has worked brilliantly. So much food - sounds like a cruise where you jusy have to eat because it's there. Casa Tequila sounds like a different kind of Casa Herbalife! Think it will be a culture & weather shock when you get to France.
Love Mum XX
We tried not to eat much today to save up for a final hurrah dinner, but we were still full come teatime! What is going on!? xox
From el Christo - Friday, 27th April 2007, 00:13 (GMT)

Les poppies sont exquisite !
Merci Lizzie et Michael.
Oui Papa! We have been waiting for the fields full of them to go 'bang' but will miss them unfortunately. Have had to make do with road-side poppies. xo
From Sonia - Monday, 14th May 2007, 04:33 (GMT)
Hola chicos! Malaga is not the best place in Spain, is it? We don't like it, so we just leave it for the english and the german! If you have time, I really recomend a visit to Granada. It's a 3 hour drive from MAlaga or so, you probably drove by in your way down. It's a beautiful city, with a lovely old town and the Alhambra, an arab palace worth seeing. One of my favourite places in Spain! Have a great time and have some tapas for me too!!! I want some Jamon Serrano!!!! Love, XXX
Hi Sonia, thanks for the tip. We will definitely be going to Granada! Also thinking about Seville, Cordoba, Ronda and Gibraltar (although not spain!). What you think? We will have some tapas for you, but what is Jamon Serrano?! xox
From Meg - Monday, 14th May 2007, 08:34 (GMT)
Buoneos Dias!
Have you mastered the line 'Quero una cervesa por favor signor?' yet Michael?!
All good here - had another emotional farewell to J and D Mc last week (but Bolge and I were secretly stoked as we both came away with the remnants of Janye's wardrobe!)
Def do Granada and the little villages Bubion if you get time - you won't regret it!
All looks divine but back to the essays for me xx Meg
Hola Meg, thanks for the helpful hints. Can't believe Jayno is giving away clothes!!! I totally missed out. Or is it just a lend?! Hope the essays are flowing love. xox
From Jude - Monday, 14th May 2007, 09:47 (GMT)
Have so enjoyed your engaging humour of last 2 days in Spain! Maybe because I've just enjoyed a lovely red vino that life seems very mellow!
Jude XX
Yes well the vino tinto will do that to you Mum! Glad you've enjoyed. Love us xo
From G'ma & G'ken - Tuesday, 15th May 2007, 05:39 (GMT)
Greetings from the 'oldies' !!!
Our e-mail/internet,etc. has been out of action for a couple of weeks so we have just had a feast of Mexico, Southern France and, now Malaga and YOUSE ! Your
diaries are amazing and excellent.
Thank you. Many a laugh about them, matching some of our own travels with yours. The amphitheatre you showed is quite like the one at Amiens where we saw a bull fight, which was quite gory. The bell towers, the jacarandas, the olive trees, the narrow streets all brought back memories. Hope you did get to Granada, Cordoba and Seville as they all are memorable.
Thank you for your birthday greetings with the lovely card too. We are well and smiling a little as some rain falls with the hope of more in the next few days.
Love to you both. You look great - the hard work at the castle probably did you some good - making up for the rather large intake of food !! Snails too!
G. & G. xoxoxox
Hi Grandma and Grandken! Wow you had a lot to catch up on. We did Gibraltar yesterday and will go to Cordoba today. Thursday will be Ronda and Seville we think. Granada on wednesday. So much to do!!!!! Keep those rain dances going Grandma! love L&M xo
From Serena - Wednesday, 16th May 2007, 05:51 (GMT)

Michael and Marilyn have just come back from that part of the world. Go the Pies! but we might come a thud against the Bulldogs this week.Take care Love Sue
Hi Susie, glad that our little blog entertains you so. Keep on the Pies, at least for another 2 weeks, because June is just around the corner and their time to dive-bomb!
From Kaz Strib - Monday, 21st May 2007, 06:31 (GMT)

Great to hear from you Kaz! How can we apply for that job?! Need it sooner rather than later.... Definitely stay tuned; the next report will come from Amsterdam, or as we've been told, Amsterdamage! Love L&M
From Jude - Monday, 21st May 2007, 13:23 (GMT)
So glad you finally got into the palace in Granada - looked fantastic. Really good photos. Clive Griffin has spent a lot of time in Seville - something to talk to him about when you see them in Oxford. Bus-About looks great. Love Mum/Jude XX
Hi Mum - yes will be great to get CLive's perspective on all things Spain. He's quite the historical expert isn't he?! Busabout great so far- amsterdam tomorrow. Love L&M xo
From Jacqui - Tuesday, 22nd May 2007, 04:45 (GMT)
Hey Lizzy and Micheal,
How are you both?
Sounds like you are having an absolute BALL! Love reading your updates!!
Look after yourselves xoxox
Hey Jac how are?! When are you and Bobby getting yourselves over here?!!! We are in Amsterdam wanting to party! xo
From Al - Tuesday, 22nd May 2007, 04:52 (GMT)
Definately stalagtites. they hold on 'tight' so they don't fall and stalagmites 'might' get to the top if they keep stretching...unlikely
HA! Thanks Ali, that makes perfect sense! xo
From Sue Sloan - Monday, 4th June 2007, 04:40 (GMT)
Hey! Hawthorn are flying!!!
Looking forward to playing you in a couple of weeks. We had a good win against Freo, but if they had kicked the ball instead of handballing it, they would have done a lot better. Lorne had a bye. Cold and misrerable here but lots of rain which is good. Take care.
Love Sue
Yes it is good to hear about the rain. Especially since we're on the other side of the world, and it's sunny! Don't look forward too excitedly to playing Hawthorn! Love M&L
