Hi Tracy!
Today is no special day and I have no particular reason for writing to you. I have no news to tell you, nor any problems to discuss with you,
or gossip to tell you. It's only one of those happy moments
when I thought of you. It happens a lot. Just thought you should know.
Love you!
Kelly
From Denny - Friday, 22nd February 2008, 00:34 (GMT)
Hi Honey, I,m so sad you won't be home until October. Is there any chance of a break to see James and I for a week or so in April? We miss you so much. We are trying to be strong for you but Its very lonely for both of us without you. Please call me ASAP. James is really trying at school to get caught up. We also need a new copy of your orders. The bank has sent a notice they will be bumping the intrest rate back up in April.
well thats all for now and I will send you the things you asked for.
Love , Denny
K - I'll call again. Tell your Mom about Oct before she gets the news elsewhere!! She is going to be mad (like Lisa above). Smooth it over for me, baby. I love you. T

Seems Scott and Carrie broke up, could just be a phase ya never know with kids!
Brian says he is sure there are lots of better qualified navy personal to fix your air, lol
Love ya Sis!! Lisa
Hi Lisa - 2003 for you - lol. Mom beat you by 36 minutes. We'll have to do it again for 3000. And some well trained Seabees did fix my air - it's like a fridge in there now! Love, Tracy
From Mom - Tuesday, 18th September 2007, 02:24 (GMT)
Hey! Just a thought. You are much more beautiful than Demi Moore. She just happened to be in the right place to be discovered! And--you have more class.
Mom
But I don't have that deep sexy voice. I hear myself onthe answering machine when I call home sometimes and think "I sound like a little kid" - or like Samantha! Love, T

From Kelly & Emily - Wednesday, 9th May 2007, 15:43 (GMT)
Hi Tracy! Emily says hi and she has many pictures colored for you. She has even found an envelope and put your name on the front! I told her we'd send it with the stuff I have for you. I went shopping for flowers and found some Sweet Peas. I couldn't resist since that is what we call Emmy. You'll be able to see them when you come home. Just know we are thinking of you. Stay safe and strong!
Love you so much!
Kelly & Emily
Love back at ya!!
From Mom - Wednesday, 9th May 2007, 11:09 (GMT)
Hi Sweetie! Well I am sooo tired today. Worked the poles yesterday. I got up at 4:45 and didn't get home till 9:30. Such a long day for me. I was the presiding judge this time, and that led to a lot more work for me. I had to pick up all the equipment on Sat., and then take it all back down to 30th St last night when we got the poles closed. Now I'm tired and crankie! Got a lot to do today tho, so I can't sleep in or be lazy. Soak up all that Comfort at the Inn because there sure won't be much comfort at the fort lol. Love you and miss you so much. Mom
Good job, Mom! You really did a good thing there - helping out our country! It must run if the family (lol)
From Aunt Jerrie - Saturday, 22nd December 2007, 16:26 (GMT)
I don't think you realize how much YOU are teaching us about life, liberty and happiness. Your words, thoughts, courage, love, humor and good will comes throught loud and chear. You have helped us grow so much this past year and I know you feel like you have grown in so many ways. As a family we live life and not let it get the best of us. WE GET THE BEST OF LIFE!! Love and hugs
I couldn't have said it better myself. Love, T
From Sam - Tuesday, 26th June 2007, 01:52 (GMT)
We get that from Mom--the sleeping in till the last minute. Remember the picture Dad took of her sleeping with a clock beside her head that read 8:00, and we were supposed to be leaving for Gatlinburg at 8:15?! That might be the same trip you set the timer on the stove so we would leave in five minutes, but we got out of the house early and the timer was buzzing for a week! That poor timer sounded so awful every time after that when it went off! But that just goes to show you, Mom had it under control. She knew just what time she needed to get up and we ended up out of the house a couple minutes early! And, probably much to Dad's dismay, she passed that trait down to all of us girls!
Love, Sam

It's true that we've almost perfected it. I for one am hardly ever late - but just in time. We just love our beds too much! i love you guys and miss you tons, but we are probably talking more now than we usually do, which is strange but great! Thanks for always checking on me - I have over 1600 hits on the page! See mom's post to know why I haven't had an entry for a while. Love, Tracy
From Kelly - Thursday, 3rd May 2007, 02:31 (GMT)
OK Soldier girl - I've updated the checklist to add moist towelettes, toilet paper and purell - cuz you never know where their hands have been! I could never make it in Iraq being left-handed. I'd offend everyone! LOL
Love the pic's but wish I could see your face a little better. Been missing you. I've added yoga to my routine in the am. It helps my back! And I've lost 5 pounds so far.
Emily has excelled in reading. They have words which they relate to the colors of the rainbow. Puprple words are the easiest and where everyone starts, then blue, green, etc. They have to make it to yellow before the end of the school year. Emily has gone all the way to red and still has a month of school left!! She's gonna be another reader like Mike.
Speaking of Mike, he is doing fine. Looking forward to being a senior. He is trying to find another job because the managers at Taco Bell don't schedule him for more than 16 hours a week. And he wants to make more money.
Bill is also good. He took Mike to an Indians game tonight. I can't believe we have been married almost seven years. Seems like just yesterday you were planning my wedding and picking the date without me. LOL! We were talking today and I told him you've been married to Denny for 17 years now and he couldn't believe that. It is very impressive.
Carolyn has a new address. Check your aol account for an email I'll forward to you. She has news.
Don't forget to drink lots of water to rehydrate after long marches. Love you and miss you.

I hope it was me. Maybe I'll get a really cool prize lol. Mary sounds like such a sweetie. She is a good friend to tell you what you're mom has said all along. You're just as smart as the next one, and you can be anything you want!! Love you Mom
Mom - it was you! You beat Gram by 17 minutes to be #2000. Love, Tracy

From Carolyn - Thursday, 26th July 2007, 01:52 (GMT)
Hey Tracy! I just finished up day two of the bar, one more to go. My computer has a virus so I can't be on-line for too long or it freezes, but I wanted to say hello and mention that I was half-way through handwriting a 12 page essay on collateral estoppel (don't ask) and my hand was cramping up and I was streatching my fingers and crossed them, and suddenly though "I wonder if Tracy has her fingers crossed for me?" and giggled out loud and the exam proctor gave me an evil look.
Don't loose spirit little girl. I heard a little quote the other day and I don't remember it exactly, but the gist was - all aggrevating,, annoying, and evil people in this world are put here with a purpose, to show you your tremendous capacity for love, forgivness, and hope, to bind people together... - maybe? I wish there was another way, but look how close OUR family is getting! I'm going to believe that.
I need some yoga, then some sleep. Love and miss you!
Carolyn - I have been thinking of you all week - getting psyched up for your exam. How soon do you know if you passed it? Hopefully it's not like that drivers test in the movie we used to always watch, where they grade you as you go and a message pops up "ONE MORE WRONG AND YOU FAIL". That would just be too much pressure! I love you and I know you'll pass (But eat a "Smartie" just to make sure.- lol Love Teecee
From Lisa - Tuesday, 22nd May 2007, 02:19 (GMT)

Time to play the glad game. I am glad I get to chat with you on Planetranger even if you only log in once a week. I am glad you are back at Bagram where Chris can harrass you. I am glad grandma sends you fudge even if she doesn't make any for me. I am glad you will get to sleep on a more regular basis cuz I hate when you are cranky. I am glad that you will (maybe) keep this page up a little more regularly. I am glad to hear from you even if it's you complaining. I'm glad you got a little bit of a tan even if I look like a ghost. I'm glad the sun is shining where you are even though rain is in my forecast. :)
Remember that if these twenty something year olds can bounce from base to base, you can too. I have faith in you. It's only for a little while longer.
I'm glad you are coming home soon cuz I miss you.
Loving you with all my heart!
~K
Thanks, Kelly. I'm glad for all those things too. Chris IS harassing me big-time. So that is at least back to normal! Love you and miss you - Tracy
From Denny, Your Husband - Monday, 7th May 2007, 04:01 (GMT)
Hi Honey, We miss you so much, it would sure be great to see you soon. James and I mowed the lawn today and it looks great. James and I went to a movie tonight, we saw Spiderman 3 and it was pretty good. After the movie we went to Carrabbas and got carry out. our bill was $49.00 and then with our discounts it ended up at $14.00 I'm not sure how the discount ended up that much but it sure was awesome. I washed all the clothes and we are going to pack James tomorrow. Should he take his suit with him or just some nice clothes. I tried to call you again at 9:30 pm but I guess you already turned in. We are both off on Tuesday night so we will call you then. I've got to tell dad you shot the 50 cal gun. Be careful maybe thats why he can'y hear. Call me when you get time. Love, Denny
PS Rosie misses you and so does BunBun. I put Buns in Rosies pen for about 3 hours today
I miss you guys! Love, Tracy
From Jeanne - Wednesday, 6th June 2007, 03:31 (GMT)
Hi Tracy!
I log on every night to see what you have to say. I just love to read your journal and hear about your adventures! You are my hero!

I don't know Mrs Schick, but as a fellow Kindergarten teacher, I can tell you that she would be so proud of you. She would say that it is important to believe in yourself! A mind is a terrilbe thing to waste. So, what are you going to major in? Dream big girl! You can be anything you set your mind to!

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Jeanne

Hi Jeanne! I don't know yet what i want to be when i grow up lol. A lot of schools will give me credit for my military training though, so I think I already have a start. Love, Tracy

Hi there Sailor! I talked to someone at your reserve center, and he is going to see that I get an E-mail of your orders, so no worries there. Everyone on the business card that they gave me last year is no longer there, but the guy that I talked to was very helpfull, and he called me back in 10 mins., to give me an answer. I for one am glad you are back a BAF. Somehow it seems safer to me, even thou it might not be. Sorry about the small sleeping quarters thou. Hey, now you can get your chi tea from the Green Bean! I'll send you another gift card. Love you so much, and miss you more.
Mom
Ha-ha! I just this morning emailed you my orders! Now that I'm back at BAF it was easy! I got the gift card too, Mom. Thanks for that! Can you mail me a Cover-girl Cheekers blush in the next package? (Natural Twinkle is color). I dropped mine and it broke into tiny pieces. Thankfully I don't need it as bad with my tan - haha. Sorry I was sad when I called. I'm fine - really. Love you too - Tracy
From Mom - Sunday, 20th May 2007, 01:01 (GMT)
Hey there, I just want to say that we really missed you in Ca. It just wasn't the same without our cruse director. Carolyn looked really good and we saw her new apt. It is in a very nice part of East Hollywood on the edge of the Griffith Park. It's in part of an old craftsman style home. You'd like it. Take care and we'll see you soon. Love Mom
From Mom - Friday, 13th July 2007, 00:38 (GMT)
