Sounds like things have been a bit crazy over there. I don't think it matters where you are, crazyness has a way of following you! =) And I love the pictures! It's so pretty there! And it is funny how they think American cuisine is exciting and new. I can't wait to read more about your adventure! Miss ya! =)
Yes, I am a crazy magnet, aren't I? That explains a lot...., lol, jk. I miss you guys a lot too.

hey sarah-we have enjoyed reading about your adventure and loved the pics. Last night at youth we had the kids make scripture cake. You have a recipe of scriptures with amounts and from the sciptures you find out the ingredients. It made a yummy spice bread. Good luck with school. You'll do great.
That sounds awesome! Do you think you could send me the recipe?

Hi Sarah!

I found your blog and am glad to see that all seems to be going well and you are finding your way around! I have enjoyed reading about your adventures, and think your pictures are sweet. I'll probably never make it to Germany, so I will see it through your eyes. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers -- especially praying that you will be able to get your class situation taken care of.
Miss you and our Saturday time together!

Wow, it sounds like you're busier than a bee! It's fun to follow along and see what it's like living somewhere different. I was wondering... is there a German version of Apples to Apples? ;)
Still miss you!
I have no idea, but if there is, I want to find it! It would do wonders for my vocabulary.

Sarah, Your father shared your blog with me, it sounds like a wonderful experience you will be having. Thank you for letting me join you in your trip and will keep checking with you. Be safe and God be with you always.

Sounds like you are starting to setting in. The church sounds like it will be a wonderful, supportive foundation to grow from. It's nice to know you have a few fluent English speaking friends in case things get hairy for any reason. Keep your chin up its only going to get better!

Love - Dad

Uncle Rick and I agreed that the pasta with ketchup on top didn't sound appealing. You were very brave to try it. The Klobe potato-thing sounded much tastier!

There once was a girl named Sarah
But not sure her last name was O`harah
She accomplished a lot & was kind
And occaisonally sipped from her stein
Had a ton of friends who cared
And all there love they shared
But because she left town
They all wore a frown
And wished her "Good Luck" over there!

Hi Sarah! So glad to here that you got to Germany safely. I bet your pictures will be beautiful. You are in my prayers too. Will be looking forward to hearing from you.
God Bless you!

I'm glad you made it safely! Why wasn't your phone working? That's a pain, especially considering you specifically acquired it for Germany.
Since I got a replacement phone (long story there) the activation of the sim card hadn't been transferred, so it didn't work.
From Lori & Larry - Sunday, 8th March 2009, 06:51 (GMT)
Glad to hear your trip went well. We know you'll have a great time and your German will improve quickly, you are a fast learner. take care

We lived in Germany for four and a half years, and have flown in and out of Franfurt several times. But you have hit a town that we have never been in. Good work. Hope you enjoy your stay. I know we enjoyed the cleanliness, the forests, and the people emmensely.
