Hello Jen,
Merry Christmas from your Strathmore family. Realized I didn't have an address to send you a card so decided to send a note this way. Glad to hear your folks are going over to see you. Happy and safe travelling. It is amazing how much country you can cover over there. Listening to your adventures brings back great memories. Keep making them girl. All is well here, will have a quiet Christmas with my Mom and the boys, Charlie and Jamie hope to get some skiing in, other than that not too much else planned.
Take care Jen.

So...I hear they don't have thanksgiving over there!?
That rumor is true. No Halloween either. However, I am going to make a traditional dinner for my flat mates, just one problem... I can't find a turkey anywhere, may have to substitute with chicken.

My dear Jenny! What beautiful country you are in. Do you do any studiying or is it only walking, hiking, biking, spending days at the beach... I would not compare the landscapes to the Gaspé. It is very different save the sea. No trees to speak of it seems. The pictures you have are inviting to say the least. It's good that you did lace up and hit the land.

It was great seeing you and your dad. Family is key as you know. Next summer we can surely get together again. Seems that it is getting to be my turn to get to you guys. We'll see. All is well here. We go to Ottawa on Saturday for Avri'ls Phd grad ceremony. The girls are going great guns at their studies and other aspects. We are all quite healthy. The biking is great! Take care. All our love. What amazing pictures, and by the sounds of it, you are having a fantabulous time over there. Your first day of that class sounded hilarious and as I was reading it I could just see you getting all clutzy like you said. Remember how amazing I think you are and I am sure that you will do amazing things over there.

Hi Jen,
Love your web page - what an awesome way to keep in touch and share your experiences with friends and family.
Sorry I haven't been in touch - seems I am still trying to get back into the groove of real life after being in Europe. I don't know what I would do if I took a really long break.
Sounds as though you are very busy with school work but we are so happy that you are getting around and seeing the country. Love all the pictures. I am sure you are already very excited about the adventure you and your parents will have at Christmas - New Year's in Paris - what a thrill.
Sarah Harmer was on CBS radio as a guest host - she is so talented - maybe we'll try and get to the show on Nov 18th.
Uncle Dave is turning 50 in December and we are having a surprise party for him - lots of the Belleville clan are coming and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
That's all for now, honey. Take care of yourself.

Thursday we got about 10 cm of the white stuff and is quite cold around -20 with wind chill!; suppose to go up to 10-14 C by Monday the 28th - go figure. The commute to Markham took me 4 hrs. Thursday a.m. This weather is way too early!!!

Hi Jen,
Have a great Christmas!
From Bruce Willett - Wednesday, 21st December 2005, 14:48 (GMT)

You have my email address so no need to leave it. I emailed Red today and he filled me in on the plans. Yes, quite the schedule. Are you sure you are not pushing yourselves too hard? Probably not given your very hectic physical activities schedule. WOW!! What is the detox diet? I could use being less blotted and lighter. Please describe it to me.

There is quite a bit of snow on the ground and the temps are good and cold. Great biking weather. It was about -20 C this a.m. So you can be really jealous of us.

Sounds like you are burning the candle at both ends there. Working and playing hard. Take care of yourself and give your folks a really bog hug for me.

The girls are fine. We plan to spend a few days around Christmas together then in the 29th Avril and I go to NR for a week or so. Love you lots Jen. Bruce (unedited) for the family.
