Hi guys! Sorry for shamelessly advertising myself on your site (which, by the way, is awesome) but I thought that PacRim parents and others would be interested in another student's page. I was inspired by you guys and created for those addicted to silly travel blogs and pictures. Hope you all enjoy. Thanks- Daniel
And I am shamefully responding. Thanks for stealing our thunder...

The last time I saw Ulan Bator. Yeah, tell me about it when you get a chance. Safe and fun and profitably travels.
Cheers, Dave
Deal. See travel entries. There will be more soon. We're keeping a close eye on Mongolian riders for you...

Just wanted to say that the picture that says no caption needed, is one of my favorite pictures of all time. Well done.
Hope all is well.
The Gobi desert is quite a place, as you can see. Luckily, we were only lost for 40 days and 40 nights. Then some dude took us to the 'promised land'. Hmm... and where did the water go? How are you good sir?
From Ohana - Saturday, 10th September 2005, 02:43 (GMT)
It's so sad. I keep checking planetranger just to see if you've surfaced again! It's kind of like calling the disconnected cell phone. love family

Your travels sound like such an amazing experience. After looking at the pictures of you all in Mongolia, my life suddenly felt very, very boring. O well, I guess I have to follow my path, though yours sounds more interesting at the moment. However, I am learning a ton(mostly because no one here is as good as you all at making me less of a social recluse) so I guess it is not all bad. Hope you all are still safe and happy,

Hi buddy!
We were just talking about you and what a great guy you are, mostly because of your nerdiness (yay, me too! too bad John doesn't know what it is to read fantasy!). Missing you in Mongolia. Keep up the good work. Write us a longer e-mail sometime.

Hey Marisa and John!!
Im looking through this site and am wondering if my previous message got to you guys, it wasn't posted (i dont really care if other people see it or not) but i was just curious as to how it worked, does it post the message automatically, and then you guys write your response? I just want to make sure you guys get my messages.
Anyways John, how is your nose/eye/ head feeling? I myself had a little bangup a little while ago and broke my nose playing frisbee. I think that took my participation in the game from being just a little over obsessed to being a total dork. It's supposed to be a non-contact sport and i do something stupid like that. Anwyays, I'm all right, and my nose is straight, so all of my lady friends were greatly relieved.
The wrestling match you talked about reminded me of the stories i heard about the epic Ben, John, BJ, and Kavan wrestling matches. Did you have an inkling to get in the match yourself John?
Anyways, my long and pointless message must have an end, so I'll end it by saying I am currently looking at Ulaanbaatar on google earth, its quite a small capital city it seems like.
Now thats enough
glad to hear your nose is on straight, but you'll always be beautiful in my book, in a dirty rob kind of way. and yes, i wrestled quite a few matches with the mongolians. won some. lost some. and we always read the postings. some get posted on the page, some don't--depending. and UB is a very small place but has almost half the population of mongolia living in it... take care, good sir.

Hey msn,
So I'm looking for a little life advice. I'm hanging out with some people tonight, and I notice that everyone has got cell phone. Noe this phone is not just an accesory. This is like the life-blood of their exestence. So it makes me think, maybe I should get a cell phone. I mean, people have flat out told me that it would be better if i were easier to get a hold of. At the same time, I kind of feel like Mophious from the matrix in that I am crusading to explain the benefitys of being disconnected from this crazy-persistent network. Anyway, what do you think? Now I need some serious honesty now. Well, I've got to go. And it seems as though I'm only talking to myself here.

As kavan would say, "one love"
The cell phone is a leash. stay out of the matrix for now. someday, maybe, you'll need a phone, but for now, just say no... and...come to thailand. no more excuses.
From bj - Tuesday, 4th October 2005, 01:28 (GMT)
I don't know if you guys noticed, but you've climber to the #2 spot for sites visited most often. Not too shabby.
Now, I can't take all the credit, but I've certainly made countless visits to your site site even though I knew there was nothing new posted. Why? Because Marisa said you guys wanted to win the prize for the most popular site.
All I ask in return is this: I'd like to see a picture of Marisa looking on disapprovingly as John tries to balance in some sort of dramatic meditation pose. So, make me happy and make this happen.
Oh yeah, best wishes, be safe, kick ass.
You'll get your wish soon enough, but before you do, I need to know whether you're coming to Asia or not in the winter. Respond soon agent H.

ok so, i dont even think that there are enough words in the dictionary( the unabridged kind) to describe how much i miss and love you guys.

i hope youare having lots of fun, staying healthy, and being safer than a bug in a rug. or whatever. ha well yea.

i miss and love you both!!!!
Sweet plan dude. You could be the next Warren Miller. Go to art school for film and then I could visit you and your weirdo goth friends...ha ha. Love you miss you, Jei jei

PS...what about our little mormon friend?? I must know!!!!
This has been a wild ride so far, and it's only been three days. How's the tropics? We're heading for a major weather system and reindeer people!! Snow, rain, ice, and yurts. Kavan didn't pay his tuition on time, so he came back to Reno for this semester just to hang out and work. He got to see John the day before we left. Love you. Miss you too, my beautiful best friend.
