From Aunty Robyn - Friday, 4th May 2007, 06:47 (GMT)
Poor Aunty Robyn is too tired tonight to worry about apostrophes and wiggly red lines. Have been working full-time this week and it really is too much!!! Enjoy your weekend, whatever it holds.
Hi Aunty Robyn. Oh I know, full time work is a bit much isn't it? I mean when do you get time to do anything else?
Ps. Happy birthday Roger.

From Jo - Monday, 4th September 2006, 04:41 (GMT)
I love Barcelona! I don't know about being robbed but Amelia and I did get chased down the street by men telling us how beautiful we were (It wasn't such a bad experience..) We had soo much fun. We stayed in a very dodgy hostel in Barri Gotic but it was near a fantastic tapas bar that pretty much became our base for the week. It's all a bit of a blur but I do remember the staff being very cool and taking us out after closing to a great little jazz bar between there and Las Ramblas. I wish I could remember the name but I'm sure you'll find your own hidden jems. Enjoy..
From Mara - Saturday, 16th December 2006, 00:45 (GMT)

Will let you know though when it happens and will post pictures! Haha, no I won't.

Well done New York! There is a great quote in 'Shortbus' about New Yorkers being 'permeable' and that's what makes them strong...
Of course it's impossible to generalise, but I know what he means.
:-)

yay backgammon! I am addicted to it at the moment since I found out I have a computerised version on my cellular telephonic operating device. I'll go a game with you when you're back - good old matterhorn and the cross bar both have backgammon sets so we can play over a bottle of wine. Woop! Have a safe trip back.
yay!!! i didn't know you were a backgammon fiend? What a GREAT excuse to go for a drink! We may never leave the Matterhorn again..

The Rooster would get really excited if he saw this one! Don't think the little Red Hen would like it though, it's blue, not pretty red like she likes ;-)

Hey,

Whaddya think you're doing - give me back my name. People think I'm you. I did all this twenty years ago. The only difference is - well er nothing. Go do something useful - like healing the sick.
Hey - google me buddy and we'll see who the REAL Simon Wilson is.. waahhhaaaa. Besides, we all know the only reason you are here is that you were doing a vanity search for your own name... And another thing, there was no internet 20 years ago! Actually, I'm curious, which simon wilson are you? do you have a web presence? Welcome to the simon show my friend :-)

From Looney Aunty Juney - Monday, 4th September 2006, 11:27 (GMT)
Keeping an eye on what you are doing - just not much time to respond at the moment. HOwever, I hate to sound like a real ignoramous, but what is the Gaudi?
What keys are on our key ring (found at your house) which has our house key on it and also some smaller keys - are they for our house, or someone else's? HOpe you have a great time in Barcelona and that you have enjoyed seeing our kids.
Talk to you again soon.
Love from JOe and me
From Kitta - Tuesday, 5th September 2006, 17:27 (GMT)
Try and go to the old town if you can because that's where we stayed and it's so beautiful. We were round the front of the Picasso museum. Loads of chocolate and cake shops around there. Me likey ;)

From - Friday, 8th September 2006, 20:07 (GMT)
I'm sorry -- of that entire paragraph the only thing to stick with me was: "Ended up brushing my teeth in the girls toilet..." is this a normal everyday occurance? You said this as if you would say, "then I joined some friends for dinner..."
haha, yes perhaps I didn't say that quite right, I meant: in the girl's toilet block, is that any better? It was a bit random..
:-)
From Barry Johnson - Thursday, 9th November 2006, 00:38 (GMT)
Pull yourself together boy! As as old timer me and the wife would give anything to do what you have done. When I yuong and went to Europe it was to fight in the war appreciate your freedom and stop thinking the grass is always greener, it's not in any place accept in your head. It's also much colder here in Dunedin you know!
Haha. Ah Barry, how come it's always the blokes and not the women who say: Pull yourself together? Did you know Barry that New Zealand has the highest male youth suicide rate in the developed world?? Now do you think that might be due to men here being told to 'pull themselves together' and 'put a brave face on it'? Now as for you and your wife giving anything to do what I've done... (Here's a bit of your own medicine to see how it feels ;-)) - 'Pull yourself together Barry! Get off your ass and go and do it! You think I'm special? I'm not, go and bloody do it yourself!" Hehe ;-) Thanks for your note Barry, hope it's not too chilly down in lovely Dunedin.

Simon,
lovely pics of the park - you certainly can't beat Gaudi for delicious curves. Can't wait for the others.
Hey John - I have copyright on the DoBuy tag you know!!
Hi Lucy,
I gave my love to the city for you :-) Hope DoBuy (copyright Lucy) is treating you well, now there's a city which could do with some Gaudi! :-)
From Danielle - Monday, 11th September 2006, 15:15 (GMT)
