Sort of explains why I didn't catch you last Friday night. Well Trev - you're certainly off to a flying start. Only you could come up with such a novel way of starting your bicycle voyage in South America :). See you soon.
South America...South America....??? Oh yes, thought I should be somewhere else.
From Geoff - Thursday, 2nd March 2006, 07:53 (GMT)

From Robin Haywood - Tuesday, 17th January 2006, 05:08 (GMT)
Good luck Trevor. I look forward to following your adventure. I'm sure that there will be both pleasure and pain - hopefully more of the first and less of the latter :)
I'm into pain, Robin..the whipping, the chains, and that's before I even get on my bike.
From Judy Sutherland - Tuesday, 17th January 2006, 21:07 (GMT)

So? Have you left yet? and is Critic packed?

Following our conversation on Critic, I remembered Socrates famous phrase, "The unexamined life is not worth living"

Enjoy your adventures and the opportunities for self exploration they will bring.
Thanx Carleton. I've left and will return...see journal entry. Next time, Critter the critic will travel with me. :)
From Simon Reeves - Tuesday, 31st January 2006, 03:33 (GMT)
Dad, I'm not sure if you are currently flying back to Brisbane or are still in Singapore right now but I'd like to wish you a very happy birthday on here in the hope you will read it soon.

Re: your big day out. I was liasing with the staff at the Consulate here in Canbera, and they were extremely good. They were basically responsible for getting all of the required information to to the Embassy in Singapore in order to assist Jessie and yourself.

I am very glad you are OK.
Simon, great to hear from you. And I read this on my brirthday. Everyone has been so helpful, including you. I'd like to contact the staff at the Canberra office - I'll speak to you on return to Brisbane (booked to arrive arvo of thursday 2 feb). Love....Dad

Wow, your Singapore side-trip (trip-out) was a dummy run to beat all dummy runs! I hope your UK & S America trip will be smooth, safe and still sensational!
....and that I don't spit the dummy..... :)
From veronica - Tuesday, 7th February 2006, 08:57 (GMT)
Hi Trevor, all the best for round two. You write well, this just may be a best seller. Veronica.
Thanx VV.
From Judy Sutherland - Thursday, 9th February 2006, 20:50 (GMT)
Trevor! I hope you weren't taking Prozac because you were missing work! Hope you are looking after Critique or better still sounds like he should be looking after you! That certainly was an exciting Singapore experience but disappointed your Krav Maga skills didnt help you play the Neo Matrix character better for your escape!
Im also looking forward to the book you will be writing including photos of you and Critique on your journeys.
Hey Judy. His (her?) name is Critter the Critic. Thanks for this message - great to hear from you.

I miss work yes, a a... hole in the well, no, a hole in one, no, a whole in the head. :) I used the Get out of Jail Free card in Singapore. Plus the "I know George Bush" approach. Works every thousandth time.

Critter is alive and well and sitting on an armchair in my brother's place where I'm staying while in the UK. When I've figured out how to use my new camera, I'll take his first photo and put it on here.

Take care....Neo

Hi Trevor,

Sounds like you make it to UK intact. Did you get away OK? UK sound too cold for comfort...I walked out of work today at luinchtime, to walk between Comalco and AMP Place and enjoyed my nice warm 32 centigrade air bath.....lovely.
Look after yourself my friend and enjoy the UK.
Thanks julian. You'll by now have received the email I sent to your work adress, I guess.

I get a 4` bath when i venture outside. :/
From John - Sunday, 12th February 2006, 07:53 (GMT)
Hello Trevor, Found your website (obviously) and I look forward to following your adventures. All is well with your unit and I will send an email tomorrow from the office to give you details. Stay well. Cheers, JP
Picked up my new bike today John - it's awesome. Got a piece of paper with it, signed by the man who built it in the Netherlands. Now all i have to do is put one pedal in front of the other, over and over, and....easy really. look forward to the email telling me you've rented the unit out for $1,000 per week. :)
From Ruth - Sunday, 12th February 2006, 14:28 (GMT)
What have your bike & journal got to do with the Trinity ? - (Other than the farther, the sun and the wholly grossed!)
LOL I'm Neo which is an anagram of One (the One). And trinity, apart from being a beautiful woman in the movie Matrix, means one plus one plus one. Get it? No, neither do I actually....
From Jessie - Tuesday, 14th February 2006, 04:17 (GMT)
hey dad, hows trinity? very very very good i hope! can you take some pictures of martins children i want to see how they've grown. Little chickens! Hope you are cold and smiling ! take care. Love ya

Hi Jess.
Trinity's well...very happy to have been taken for a ride yesterday to see my relatives: cousins Hazel, Joan and Bill, plus 1st cousin Julia. Hazel sends her love.

Will take some pics for you of M's kids. And yes - sometimes cold, but always smiling.

love you too.....Dad
